Cruise Planners committed to the City of Coral Springs, where the company’s 135 team-member Home Office Team is located
Cruise Planners announced it is officially a Trustee member of the Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce. Cruise Planners, the nation’s largest network of home-based travel advisors, consistently shows its dedication and contribution to the community of Coral Springs where the company was founded more than 25 years ago.

“I’ve lived in Coral Springs for more than 35 years, it’s where my kids grew up and where they attended school. So, when Cruise Planners was founded, I wanted to build a company close to home, creating a fulfilling work-life balance,” said Michelle Fee, CEO and founder of Cruise Planners. “When the company was founded, we had no idea how large it would become, and we are proud that we are able to contribute to our city in a positive way.”
Cruise Planners positive economic impact on Broward County includes ongoing travel advisor training sessions, STAR University, held solely at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center with more than 800 cruise and travel agents annually, as well as additional specialty training events such as the company’s annual convention, being held again this year at the Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Florida.
In addition, Cruise Planners has positively contributed to Broward County and Greater Fort Lauderdale’s tourism engine helping bring in the more than four million cruisers sailing from Port Everglades each year. Cruise Planners employs more than 135 team members and has been consistently voted “Top Workplaces in South Florida” by the SunSentinel.
Trustee members of the City of Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce are leaders in the community focused on business success and continued growth. The purpose of the Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce Trustee program is to engage executive business leaders in active participation with the Chamber by forming alliances and leading the community while encouraging economic growth and ensuring that the City of Coral Springs and surrounding communities continue to be vibrant for generations to come. Cruise Planners is proud to be honored with the 2019 Business Excellence Award in the Large Company category by the Coral Springs Economic Development and will continue to be an active member of the community.
As a Trustee, Cruise Planners will have the opportunity to speak at monthly meetings. The company plans to continue forth with community involvement and make a positive impact on the City of Coral Springs.
