Frank, I don't think you got the text I sent you while we were on our cruise. It was fabulous. Words can't really express it. I thought the land part was so much more than I was expecting. We only had 1 problem and we fixed it easy enough. Kyle could not check luggage on the train or keep it with him. There is no storage area.
I am going to attempt to send some pictures from my phone in a separate email but I used my camera the most.

Everything worked out great. The cabin location was ideal. There was access to the deck just past our cabin. It did say for "crew members only" but used anyway and no one seemed to care, great for viewing glaciers, very quiet also.
Early traditional dining worked out great. We were able get in our shore excursions, eat and still get to a lot of the entertainment. I used Shore Excursions to book side trips. Glad to be in smaller, less crowded groups.

We had a great time ! The resort rooms, service, food and drinks were excellent. We were a little disappointed in the beach because there was a lot of seaweed during 2 or 3 of the days, but sounds like that has been happening everywhere along that coast, even in Cancun. The transportation to/from the airport was very nice and was on time.
We set up our own guided tour to Chichen Itza through the hotel. The tour guide and sites were excellent, but we ended up on a crowded van instead of a comfortable bus for the trip. I would probably try and set that up ahead of time next time.
