Recently Completed Travels - 2024



  • Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas Caribbean Cruise - January 28-February 4, 2024. We sailed from Miami to the Caribbean. This was a hosted group cruise for one of our business clients while they provide coaching and training for their clients. Yes, we help businesses with their incentive travel, awards travel, conference travel, and more. We work with the groups departments with all of our major cruise lines and resorts to make your business conference as smooth as possible.

  • Antarctica and Chilean Fjords cruise with Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours. February 21-March 13, 2024. This 23 day cruise has been the longest cruise we've taken to date. This was a last minute opportunity that came our way in which we had less than 30 days to prepare. Scenic is a luxury cruise line with expedition style yachts that are class 6 ice breakers. Maximum of 200 guests. Our sailing had 110 people on board. It was a trip of a lifetime. Getting to kayak, paddle board, and take twice daily zodiac excursions to this remote part of the world was truly life changing. We have been talking about this trip all year long and I can't wait to go back to this part of the world again. We have over 3000 pictures from this trip.   • Alaska Cruise with Celebrity Cruises aboard the Celebrity Solstice - August 11-18, 2024. We love Alaska. In fact, this was our third Alaskan cruise in the last 3 summers. It's different every time we go. This particular cruise sets sail from Vancouver, BC which is one of our very favorite cities in the world. This cruise sails the Inside Passage, goes to the ports of Icy Strait Point, Juneau, and Ketchikan, Alaska. One of the highlights of the cruise is viewing the spectacular and highly active Hubbard Glacier. Alaska itineraries are always popular. Be sure to call us right away to book your Alaska cruise as the season does sell out.

  • Shades of Ireland - Collette Escorted Tour - September 28 - October 7, 2024. Three couples joined Richard and Kristin on this spectacular journey through Ireland. We traveled via luxury motorcoach, staying in the iconic cities of Dublin, Waterford, Killarney, Limerick, and Kingscourt. We visited the must see sites of Cliffs of Moher, Blarney Castle(kissed the Blarney Stone), Ring of Kerry, and we even stayed overnight on the grounds of Cabra Castle. 

  • Sun Princess cruise from Fort Lauderdale. This special cruise was for travel agents only as the ship is brand new and recently arrived fom Europe. We spent 3 fantastic nights exploring this amazing ship from October 11 -14. This ship is now sailing the Caribbean for the winter season. If you want to get on this spectacular ship please reach out to us for our special pricing.

  • Our last trip of the year will be to Nashville, TN to visit our daughter. We love going to Nashville. The scene there is electric. And yes, we do help clients plan long weekend trips to great cities all around the USA such as Las Vegas, Nashville, Miami, New York City, and more.   • While not going on a cruise, we'll be taking a quick trip to San Diego, CA to do a ship inspection of the Azamara Onward as it docks in California where it will begin it's 2025 World Cruise adventure on January 6, 2025. This amazing ship will be highlighted on our Meta and Instagram pages so be sure to follow along the first full week of January 2025 for more pictures and details about this ship, cruise line, and itineraries.   • Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas sailing April 27-May  4, 2025. This cruise is sailing out of Galveston, TX and will stop at the ports of Roatan, Honduras, Puerto Costa Maya, MX, and Cozumel, MX. Again, we're supporting our coaching client on his annual cruise with members of his program. We coordinate over 30 cruise cabins and over 70 people. We make sure everything runs smoothly and work closely with the cruise line events team to make this a seamless cruise experience.   • Follow along as we journey to Greece in May 2025. We've been selected to experience the beauty and wonder of the Greek Isles with Travelive, a leader in bespoke, custom planned and executed travel experiences in Greece and other European destinations. We'll fly into Athens, Greece where we'll spend 2 days and nights exploring the history of Ancient Greece such as the Parthenon, the Plaka and Thission neighborhoods, and other Classical Athens sites. Then we'll fly to Mykonos for 2 nights exploring the captivating white-washed buildings, meandering pathways, and breathtaking beaches. From Mykonos, we'll then travel by ferry to the island of Naxos. We'll stay 2 nights at the Sundunes Hotel Naxos. This brand new, luxury, beach-front hotel is the epitome of comfort and luxury. Finally, we'll take the ferry to the island of Santorini for our final two nights. Here, we'll stay at Vedema, just 10 minutes from Fira. A wide variety of first-class facilities and amenities can be found at this Luxury Collection Resort. Once there we'll do an island tour discovering its History and Wine. Our trip culminates with a flight back to Athens and then home to Phoenix. This will certainly be an amazing adventure that we'll share over and over again with future clients that want a custom Greece adventure.

  • Upon returning we'll have two days to regroup and do laundry before taking a drive to the Port of Los Angeles to board the Ovation of the Seas on May 31 - June 2, 2025. This popular cruise ship, with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, will be making LA its new home port with lots of fabulous family cruises coming to the West Coast. We'll enjoy a 3 night cruise so we can get to know the ship better which will allow us to confidently offer it to our clients going forward. This 

  • Also, we're in the early stages of planning is a self-driving road trip from the Phoenix area to Nashville, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Colorado and other stops along the way. More details to come.

  • We've left this year open so that we can take advantage of additional opportunities that might come our way. Every year we seem to pass up on a handful of travel opportunities because of previously scheduled travel. I'll come back here with updates as we make decisions on our additional travel in 2025.

It is good to know that Richard has our back when we make reservations. Last year we supposed to go to the South Pacific for 34 days. We planned it ourselves over 9 months. We arrive at the city, get up to the gate, and I was told that my passport was not valid to enter Fugi. They require that your passport be valid for 6 additional months after arrival. Mine was only valid for 3 months. It was the biggest disappointment in my life. I will not make travel plans by myself ever again. - William G.

She helped me choose Maui as our 2nd island and recommend the Royal Lahaina. The trip included breakfast daily, a room upgrade and the Myths of Maui Luau. Our room was on the top floor with a "partial" ocean view. It was just perfect for us. The hotel is lovely and much more personal than some of the bigger hotels we have stayed in. The trip overall was great. But on the flight from Seattle to Phoenix, Delta did all they could to ignore us on the plane. My daughter and I attempted to flag down two attendants, 3 times and were ignored completely. (I needed a seatbelt extender.) Finally on the fourth time my daughter was able to talk to an attendant. She said she would get me one. It never happened. The whole boarding process was atrocious, please just let me fly Southwest next time. (I'd rather be in a cattle call than be ignored and snubbed.)

My family had a great time on our trip to Disney World and we will never book another trip any other way.
This was a good introduction to cruising. Although I think I would not do this short of a cruise alone again. It was high energy and had a lot of families. When one is alone, with so many people around, it seems to amplify the loneliness. But my room steward, Karene, was very kind and checked on me numerous times. The comedian was very good. The headliner shows were okay, but not memorable. The excursion I took to wine country was very informative and the guide was excellent. The shrimp tacos at the end were wonderful! The excursion was only three of us, so a little awkward, but I am very glad I went. BTW the credit card to bring is Visa or MC. Discover was not accepted in any of the vineyards, my mistake.
