I booked my first cruise with Mike Gelman over 25 years ago. At that time I basically selected his agency at random from Cruise Travel magazine. The entire experience was professional and flawless. Nonetheless, I was when I received a check from Gelman Cruise Planners a few weeks before the cruise for several hundred dollars, I immediately called him. I was informed that the cost of my the cruise had actually gone down since my booking, so he was returning the difference to me.
That story says it all about Mike Gelman. I had no idea that the cruise was now selling for less. He easily could have kept the money, and I would never had known. But that is not the kind of person and travel agent that he is.
Over the years, I have booked over 50 trips with Gelman Cruise Planners. Most have been cruises, but there have been quite a few land excursions as well. Each time, I have been treated with courtesy and professionalism.
And on the rare occasions when things did not go according to plan, due to a scheduling problem or an illness, Mike Gelman did everything in his power to help me out. I could always count on him to go above and beyond what was expected.
As Mark Twain said: "The difference between right and almost right is like the difference between lightening and a lightening bug." I will continue to work with Mike Gelman because he is "lightening."

Becky was the perfect Cruise planner for our first cruise. She walked us through every detail to make sure we were prepared for the cruise. I will definitely use Becky again for future vacation plans wether they be on land or sea.
My travel agent at Cruise Planners was great, the Caribbean Princess on the other hand was lousy. The ship is OLD and poorly maintained. Rust everywhere. The food with the exception of the fancy pay extra restaurant, was uninspired and remarkably tasteless. I definitely would recommend Mike Gelman at Cruise Planners, but pass on the Caribbean Princess.

Cruise attendance was extremely low. MSC and vendors treated the cruise attendees extremely well. They did not cut back on amenities or exciting programs. Thank you MSC and all the vendors for your enthusiasm and making our vacation on this outstanding ship FANTASTIC.

One of the best cruises we've taken. We had one of the best Holiday cruises ever. Ship was small--under 750 passengers but made lots of new friends. Islands were new (4) after taking over 25 cruises. Ship was an older ship but kept up well. Food was excellent and service was good. I'd recommend Princess to anyone.- Arnold S.

Such a cute welcome back message!! Thank you for ALL your help in making this a memorable cruise for us. Our cabin location was absolutely perfect as we only had afternoon sun while we were making our way on the initial days to Aruba. Thus we had 11 full days of watching sunrises and being able to sit on our balcony all day long!!!! This experience gives me another aspect to think about when booking a particular room.
The food on the Eclipse was the best of all our cruises!! All foods had great seasoning and that was the key.
Also we lucked up on the best housekeeper weve ever had. He was the best!!!
Thank you again for your booking expertise. I'll be sending some other friends and relatives to you in the near future. Plus we'll be back...
Happy Belated New Year. Of course we're part of the folks down with colds.....it hit me on Saturday evening the day we re-docked in Ft Lauderdal (12/29). I got over it fairly quickly (2 days) but my poor husband got it from me and finally agreed to go to doctor this week to get antibiotics. Hopefully he'll be up and running by Saturday.
