On August 6, 2023 I departed on a 24-day trip throughout Great Britain with friends. This was my 11th and also my 12th group tour using Tauck Tours that Andy Popick of Cruise Planners set up for me! The back-to-back trips were "A Week in Scotland" and then, "England, Scotland and Wales". What an adventure! Fourteen days traveling across Europe, three capitals, numerous tours, trains flights and cabs. What could possibly go wrong? Actually, nothing! Andy and his team did an awesome job putting together a dream vacation. Rome, Paris and London. Did we see it all? No. But not for Andy's lack of trying. I don't even know were to start, Andy and Lilly have made my dreams come true. I have just returned from a 8 day trip to Alaska with my family and best friend. This has been on my Bucket list for years. Due to covid it has been cancelled twice. Then on Aug. 6, 2023 we boarded our ship Norwegian Encore . They took care of everything, and explained and helped me step by step how and what to do. Trust me I needed the help, not once did he (Andy) get crazy with me. Did I explain that I switched ships twice, added rooms and switched people just a few times. But he still made sure I was happy and comfortable with all my decisions. And of course he also helped me plan all my excursions- First let me tell you, have them do this. I have sailed many times, always booking excursions thru the ship , but the Shore Excursion Group tours have been the best ones. I had spoke with other people on the cruise who did almost the same as us, but went thru the ship and were very disappointed and had paid more. So if there is any question as to , should I have Shore Excursion Group handle my tours? . YES LET THEM DO IT. Now I can go on and on about all the little extras they due for you, but that would ruin the surprises. So I'm going to stop now because I could go on and on about how amazing they are. So even if you have done everything on your own in the past, Cruise Planners-Code 3 Travel make it so much more. This is my greatest thank you to Andy and Lilly for the most amazing trip of my life. My wife and I enjoyed our 7 day Un Cruise on the Columbia river. We started in Portland and went down the Columbia river on day one. The rest of the trip was headed east past Portland up river than back to Portland. The crew was fantastic. Every day there were excursions based on your intrest or activity level. There was someting for everyone. There was an onboard sommelier who pared wines with lunch and dinner as well as some interesting lectures with additional wine tastings. Had a nice visit to a winery with tasting in Walla Walla WA. The pacific NW on the river is quite beautiful. I goes from rainforest to desert. It was very well balanced with activites. Hiking, kayaking and river rafting all enjoyable. The ship is comfortable and the mood onboard is casual. The food was just OK in my opinion. A little on the bland side. Everything was always fresh. The pastery chef deserves kudos. The desserts were amazing. I noticed the this cruise line has quite a following and deservedly so. Most guests had been repeat guests. Only a few of us were first timers. Overall I would not hesitate to cruise with them again. Thanks Nace! It was our pleasure to bring this trip to fruition for you and your wife. Andy actually met me for lunch in order to walk me through the website and discuss all the options for our cruise. I have never had such personalized service and experienced such commitment to quality and true caring from a travel professional. This was a weekend cruise for our 40th anniversary and it was made very special for us. We had upgraded accommodations close to all those in our party. We were met at our cabin with champagne and chocolate strawberries; my daughter had a lovely cheese platter. We were surprised at our anniversary dinner with a cake and singing from the wait staff. Andy recommended the cabana on Coco Cay...WOW was he right! The cabana and attendant made the experience incredibly special. The ship was amazing and the service was exceptional; Andy and Lilly took care of all the details; all we had to do was show up and have fun (which we definitely did). First of all, let me begin by saying that I want this hotel and I picked this hotel. Everything Code 3 Travels had set up for us was perfect. The flight, the transportation to the hotel and the hotel were perfect. The people in Aruba are amazing and we will be back. We will definitely be using Code 3 Travels for our next trip. Now here are the negatives, which are not many. First off, choose the adult only section of the Riu Plaza Resort. We didn't, not Code 3 Travel's fault, we picked it. They had obnoxious kid concerts blaring downstairs from 9:30 pm until like midnight. They have 5 restaurants, which are all inclusive. We only ate at two of them, but I must say, I had to use the bathroom a minimum of three times a day, after I ate. Wasn't satisfied with the food there. BUT...… everything else, was simply amazing. Thank you to Code 3 Travels for such an amazing trip. You guys were truly on point. I love Aruba. Will be going back, just to either the adult section of the Riu, or a different hotel. We flew non stop to Seattle via Alaska Airlines without a hitch. Stayed in Seattle at Hilton Gardens Downtown. No problems at all, also no need for a car. Walked to Space Needle and Waterfront. Took a tour of Boeing Factory via Viator Excursions. The entire experience was pleasant via an friendly guide. However, we felt rushed while at Boeing, both in the factory and gift shop. Eight minutes in the Boeing gift shop for a plane geek was unacceptable. The tour needed to have at least 30-45 minutes longer. Their push was to avoid rush hour traffic. Please forward to Viator. The Ruby Princess cruise to Alaska was wonderful with a friendly staff and plenty to do. On board activities and new movies both indoor and out were available. The Mendenhall Glacier Float trip was outstanding and highly recommended. A big "Job well done" to Andy @ Cruise Planners. We would be happy to recommend your services. Thank you Chris. My Fabulous Agent (Andy) delivered a well planned, detailed and flawlessly executed cruise! Allure of the Seas was Superb! Ship, Boardwallk stateroom, activities, shows, dining, customer service, and On Cruise excursions all earned a "10". Nassau-Pearl Island and St Thomas-Abi Beach -- highly recommended! The only negative was the Shore Trips Excursion: St. Kitts City Tour / Hills Lookout / Beach Express. Although the driver Oliver was friendly and informative, the beach experience was deplorable. At the beach, the chair rentals were $10 each instead of $5 (printed on ticket),they ran out of umbrellas, other used umbrellas were broken, extremely expensive small plastic cup drinks ($10-14), luke warm small water bottles, embarrasing homemade showers, dirty facilities, and unfriendly staff. Unlike our amazing honeymoon cruise (planned by Andy), we decided to tackle Ireland and Portugal by land this past June. Andy was a pleasure, as always, to work with. He provided wonderful suggestions to help get the active touring plus relaxing beach vacation we wanted. It was his suggestion that led us to doing a couple days on the beaches of Vilamoura, Portugal rather than just staying in Ireland for the full trip. His partnership with Europe Express for our hotels worked out really well. Our hotel in Vilamoura was a dream. We could have stayed there, sitting at the pool, for many more days. Our hotel in Cork, Ireland was just shy of amazing. The location couldn't be beat. Only issue we had was that our room did not have air conditioning. This was something Europe Express did not inform Andy or us about. The hotel provided fans and the weather was pretty cool, so it wasn't a huge deal. Just a watch out for the future. I just returned from one of the best vacations ever, certainly the best cruise. The trip was the most amazing experience. We had the best weather for the duration. We did the land tour prior: Fairbanks - Denali - McKinley, then train to ship. In Denali I recommend going into the National Park, at McKinley, just rest and hope for the sighting of the mountain - we had 4 hours with the mountain in view. As far as other special events, WOW! I met all ships staff(all Italians) and had a function with the boat Captain Executive Chef. I actually think I met everyone that runs the ship. I am so pumped over the trip, I am scanning the Med for next year. Thank you Andy and Lily for making the best recommendations and setting it all up!! - Thomas D.

This is my second cruise that was planned by Andy Popick himself, and again it went without a hiccup. This time I brought some friends and it was a total of 3 cabins and everyone in the group was truly satisfied with the level of service provided by Andy Popick. They really go out of their way to make sure all the basics are taken care of then continue with the extras with their advice on excursions and dinning options on the boat. Overall we all had an amazing time and owe it all to Andy and his wife for the countless hours and emails sent back and forth to plan this vacation. Also, there was a scheduling conflict with the original cruise date picked and Andy was able to switch all of the cabins and keeping the discounted rate we already locked in. He really has a passion for this and shows it with his work ethic. I will and already do refer him to all my friends and will continue using them to plan future trips. Thank you so much for the trip you provided for us. The Westerdam is a great ship. Thank you for the flowers they lasted to the last day . We really enjoyed it so much. We were treated like queens. I especially liked the balcony, watching the thousands of stars from balcony. The weather was excellent. We loved the spa and greenhouse. All the ports were so nice, lots of stuff to buy, Porters were so helpful for mom and myself. They crew went out of their way to help us with everything , Captain, cabin stewards, and dining room staff. The entertainment was conservative and we really appreciated that. We had an amazing time on every excursion Shore Trips provided for us. We really appreciated the small group of eight. We enjoy a more intimate experience. Our travel agent Andy, suggested the perfect ones. Our tour guides were friendly, organized and very knowledgable about the areas we visited. They created an very authentic adventure, we were emersed in the culture at very stop. The sights, food, history, shopping and locals all contributed to our extordinary trip. It's hard to pick a favorite. We loved Ephesus for the history, the scenery in Mykonos and Santorini was breath taking. We had a wonderful lunch with the locals in Turkey after touring the city and even learned how carpets were made by local craftsmen. Our tour to the ruins of Pompeii really took you back in time. Just incredible! We really loved Celebrity's Reflection cruise ship but am so glad we booked the private excursions they were worth the extra money we spent. - Linda C.

Andy & Lilly booked our 2014 Rhine river cruise with additional time in Paris and Amsterdam. We traveled with a group of 10 other people. We had an excellent time all around and our flights, hotels, train with pickups and drop offs went perfectly. The Avalon cruise by itself was fantastic. Thank you Code 3 Travel for helping make a dream vacation come true. We started our 3 weeks of travel with non-stop air from Miami to Paris. Can't beat that and Air France treated us well. Only hiccup was finding a France telecom public phone to make a toll free call to Parishuttle as instructed for our transport from CDG airport to our hotel. An airport travel desk agent took pity on us and made the call from their phone. Our hotel was Bailli de Suffren a short walk from the Eiffel tower. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodated our every need. Hotel room while small (as is the case in Paris) was well appointed, clean, and had modern private bath. Continental breakfast included was quite tasty. Code 3 Travel came through big time with a rental car for an 8 day excursion on our own to the beaches of Normandy (70th anniversary of D-Day). Reasonably priced Fiat 500 L that held our 2 big American suitcases. We picked up the car in Paris not far from our hotel and returned it at CDG airport to catch our flight to London. So convenient! Flight from Paris to London went well. No problem connecting with our transport to our hotel. Delightful driver that gave us plenty of tourist tips. H10 Waterloo Hotel was great. Clean modern spacious well appointed rooms with private bath. Full English breakfast was included and delicious. Hotel was convenient to bus, tube and train stations so we hit the road easily for sight seeing each day. Sadly all vacations come to an end. Flight home on Delta went without a hitch. My heartfelt thanks to Code 3 Travel – Andy and Lilly Popick – for setting up a recent land trip to Italy with Tauck Tours for my sister and me. We had a wonderful time visiting Venice, Florence and Rome – a trip that spanned 12 glorious, fun-filled days! We had several needs/wants for the trip – extra days at special hotels in the cities on the front and back end of the tour, special travel and dietary needs for my sister, special airline booking and seat requests, use of a discount I had with Tauck, desire for travel insurance options – and Code 3 Travel made sure each was addressed and that it went off without a hitch. They were my liaison... which meant I could just enjoy anticipating the trip and not worry about the "behind the scenes"! At the 11th hour I even thought my sister might need to cancel because of a situation in her husband’s family. First I would just like to say that my experience using Code 3 Travel was unbelievable. I was always very skeptical when using travel agents, I never know if I'm getting the best deal, dealing with a salesman, etc... Code 3 Travel was none of these, and really helped me plan a 7 day cruise in the Caribbean. I dealt directly with Andy Popick (owner) throughout the entire process; not a salesman. Andy was always on top of everything that needed to be done, had great insight on ship details, and destination hot spots during my vacation. We booked the perfect cruise and we were packed and ready to go, when we realized our 13year old daughter's expedited passport did not arrive. Code 3 Travel jumped into action. They called the cruise line and and found out all the necessary documents needed to allow our daughter to be able to go on the cruise. Myself, 24 years old, and my mother who is 60 years old just got back from our cruise just a couple days ago. This was my second cruise and my mothers first and we both couldn't be any happier with our trip! This was a last minute decision to plan this cruise and thanks to Code 3 Travel they made it all possible for us only a week before we set sail! I can't say enough how wonderful my planner Andy was and how much knowledge he had to offer about so many different cruise lines! He was able to work with me over the phone and via email even with my crazy schedule as a registered nurse and was able to get everything set up for us. We stayed in a Sunset Veranda Stateroom which is at the aft end of the ship with a balcony and it was absolutely amazing! I don't think I'll ever book another room after having this one. I had previously cruised with Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas in an ocean view balcony and loved it as well but the aft room on the Silhouette had such an amazing panoramic view! The ship was super clean at all times and the staff was always friendly and couldn't help you enough. We did one of the specialty restaurants on the ship Tuscan Grille which is an Italian steakhouse and what a great experience that was, the food was seriously some of the best I've ever eaten!. The ship definitely catered to an older crowd and there was not many children at all which was actually nice. One of my favorite areas on the ship was the Sky Lounge which was at the front of the ship with a bunch of different sitting areas with an amazing view! We spent a lot of time there throughout the cruise reading, having our coffee, and watching as we pulled into port at our destinations. We stopped in 3 ports; San Juan, Puerto Rico, Basseterre, St. Kitts, & Philipsburg, St. Maarten. In Puerto Rico we did an excursion that was nocturnal zip lining through the mountains which was awesome! While in St. Kitts we did a scenic railway tour of the island which was really nice since they took you around almost the entire island so you were able to see so much! While in St. Maarten we took a taxi ourselves to Maho Beach which was really fun to see where the airplanes fly right over you (very low) while standing on the beach as they land at the airport right across the street. Overall I cannot say anything negative about our cruise. I will definitely be booking all of my future vacations and cruises through Code 3 Travel! He covered all areas of the trip for me from start to finish including excursions, travelers insurance, and gave some really good advice from his personal experience. - Kimberly H.
The cruise was a lot of fun and Carnival definitely had it all figured out. Ship was immaculately clean and well-maintained. . We were mid-ship which placed us near the main stairwell and that was great for getting around.” The Kid’s Clubs was the ticket! The girls looked forward to it every day. My family did the four night cruise on the new Disney Dream. The ship was absolutely beautiful, the Dream, did a great job starting from the Canaveral Port, to the cabin, to the food, to the cleanliness of the ship, to the pools, to the activities, all were exceptionally well done and not to forget catering to kids of all ages and adults. The best way to sum it up is to say "Wow!" I can't begin to put into words what a great experience it was for my family, especially for our first time since everyone on the ship was very helpful and attentive. Incredible experience going on the Disney Cruise and the whole planning event was made even more pleasant by Andy's responsiveness, accuracy and friendliness. I have to say, Code 3 Travel knew how to pick a ship...and a cabin for exactly what we needed. When you look at the layout and choices that are presented when booking-that is not an easy task. Our cabin location was perfect. If we were one floor up-our view would have been the smoking deck ( with a view of lounge chairs and people walking around smoking ) ,one floor down- we would have been looking at the life boats. In addition to the cabin, the destinations and ship size were exactly what our family was looking for. I was extremely satisfied with the attention to detail and the follow up that code 3 provided. They sent us a gift basket and had a $50 credit applied to our bill as a " thank you ". Code 3 actually called us the day we came home to see if we were happy with the vacation. Obviously we were more than pleased with the service and we will definitely use Code 3 Travel again. - Richard H.
With the help of Code 3 Travel, our family"s experience in Alaska was even more fabulous than expected! Andy made sure that everything was taken care of for us, from the cruise reservations, air, hotel,etc. to the excursions. And excursions they were!! A must-do on an Alaskan adventure is definitely the helicopter to Mendenhall Glacier and dogsledding. The most spectacular views are to be seen from the air, and the dogsledding is certainly a bucket-list entry. My kids might argue that the best excursion was zip lining in Grizzly Falls in Skagway. A truly exhilarating and exciting experience! Andy definitely made all the right arrangements and recommendations, and we'll for certain be consulting Code 3 for our next travel plans! - Bonnie D.
