It’s hard to believe there’s only one more day here. It certainly flew by. This has been a memorable vacation.
Prague is a beautiful city, certainly one to visit again. The Viking rep, Alan, has been outstanding. He’s been so helpful in all possible ways. He set up lost phone for me on my iPad and used his number as contact. His recommendations have been invaluable, as well as his directions for maneuvering about the cities.
You certainly guided us in the right direction for this trip and I can’t wait to plan another.

You gave us good advice, Kathe, to arrive a couple days before the cruise to adjust to the time difference. And as you said, Amawaterways is top notch with excellent service, tours, etc. Thank you as well for the scarves and hats on the cruise and the wine in Paris - we appreciate your thoughtfulness.
The trip logistics went smoothly, with the exception of the flight back from Paris yesterday. The airline said they sent notification a day or so earlier that two of us were bumped to a later flight, but we didn't receive it. But we made the best of it and arrived home late last night.
Today is for unpacking, naps and great memories.

The cruise was awesome, especially because of the Handicap Accessibility of Holland America Cruise Ships. This was an important factor in our choice. My wife was injured in a car accident 7 years ago and this suite fit her needs perfectly. We were very impressed with our handicap accessible Neptune Suite. The large bathroom had a roll in shower with a fold down seat and hand rails, raised toilet with hand rails and it even had a regular tub and shower along with a very nice sink and vanity area. The suite also had a ramp going out onto the veranda and a ramp coming back into the suite. These are just a few highlights of the handicap accessibility.
Kathe also booked an electric mobility scooter for my wife which was well worth the money. My wife would have been exhausted using her walker to get around. She was also able to take it off the ship for most of the excursions.

First we want to thank and compliment Kathe and Marty Kraus, Cruise Planners, for the outstanding service they gave to us each step of the way. As first time cruisers we had many questions. They answered them honestly and quickly.
We booked this Alaska cruise to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We decided to book a “nice†package. We took our daughter and one of her girl friends with us. We booked them an interior cabin right across the hall. Our suite had plenty of room for them to visit, do make up and have breakfast with us on our veranda.
The level of service was OUTSTANDING; simply ask and it was taken care of. We suggest that early in the cruise you stop by the Neptune Lounge and meet your Concierges. It was nice to have this level of personal attention. Need a last minute excursion, not a problem. The cabin steward was amazing; he did such a fantastic job. He was even able to get our formal wear pressed on short notice. The laundry service that is included with the suite was great. We knew ahead of time it was included so we did not over pack. The bed was huge and so comfortable.
Renewal of Wedding Vows Review
We were pleasantly surprised with a renewal of our wedding vows ceremony, pre-arranged by Kathe and our daughter. The Captain of the Ship officiated the ceremony. It was a beautiful ceremony with 5 other couples renewing their vows. One of the couples was celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on the day of the ceremony. The rest of the couples were all celebrating around their 30th wedding anniversary. The room was decorated with rose pedals and flowers. Each couple received their own cake. Pictures were taken of us making the first cut of the cake. The staff even delivered our cake to our room. Pictures of us were taken with the Captain and throughout the ceremony.

use the facilities, the beach, the pool and the basketball court. The bathrooms were clean, the food was great as were the drinks! Laron, our waiter was wonderful and Hilton was the highlight of our stop at the Bahamas..... We purchased our tickets the night prior to spending the day in the Bahamas (due to our ship arriving early and allowing the cruisers off). We were able to use the facilities, the beach, the pool and the basketball court. The bathrooms were clean, theven bought us a round of drinks! Staying at the British Colonial Hilton for the day was a wonderful opportunity to get away from the crowds on the cruise ship and to soak up the sun and sand. We would definitely buy the day pass again for the British Colonial Hilton.
The company was the Shore Excursion Group.
We did a tour with this company, that was recommended by our cruise planner, Kathe Kraus. The tour was in Costa Maya, Mexico. The tour included trip to the Mayan ruins and ended at the home of an actual Mayan Family. We made our own tortillas on a wood fire grill, and then after that they provided a wonderful lunch of local dishes and the flan, for dessert, was the best we have ever had. How they cooked all of this on a wood fire is beyond us.
The tour guides grew up and live and worked in the community. Of course, very knowledgeable of the past and present.
