Heading into our 10-day vacation to visit my daughter who was studying abroad in Florence, we were so excited! I was a bit concerned about the trip not meeting our high expectations. After all, this trip was on our bucket list for quite some time. What a waste of time that turned out to be!!
From the initial phone call about this trip, until wheels down back in the states, our vacation was truly amazing. We can’t thank Kim enough for spending the time to get to know our wants and needs as well as the things we were hoping to avoid. And we are SO HAPPY we took her up on her suggestions as they ended up being some of the unexpected highlights of our trip (ie, the e-bike tour in Lake Como and the Cooking Class in Florence/Tuscany with Luka, etc, etc).
We had such well-balanced days that integrated exercise with sightseeing and cultural detours. The lunch at the Tuscan farm with a view was unforgettable and a great way to spend the afternoon before our wine class and tour. We even squeezed in a well spent 45 minutes in Pienza along the way while our guide, Guillermo, kept the car ready for a quick getaway.
I could literally go on and on.
We were also pleasantly surprised at the value proposition for the trip. Our trip was designed so that it was structured but also flexible in many ways. The itinerary was spelled out clearly and so easy and convenient to follow on the app that Kim provided.
I would highly recommend Kim Watkins and her team at Cruise Planners for any trips you are planning. She has “been there and done that”… so is a tremendous resource for so many international trips. Yet at the same time, we felt that our experience was unique and authentic in every way. We can’t wait to go back!!- Brian B.

Just a quick note to thank Those 2 Cruise Planners for an excellent, relaxing voyage on the Carnival Imagination - it was so great to get away and not have to think about anything for a long weekend. The ship was great, the staff was great, and all the arrangements were already taken care of. The stateroom was lovely, embarkation was a breeze (thanks to the large packet of materials that Cruise Planners supplied, everything was all in one place) and we were on the aft deck with a drink within an hour of arriving at the port.
