Seems like Royal Caribbean has taken a turn downward. Food was "just okay" , only one pool towel station (for both pickup and drop off!) created long lines and standards for dress in dining rooms was non-existent. We had a great time anyway but would not re-book on Liberty of the Seas (or possibly Royal at all).

I heard a few family members forgot to print their excursion documents. I truly appreciate you taking the time out to re-email those documents to us. We enjoyed having a private tour with a group of our size. It was so much more fun and personalized. It made the tequila experience much better than with a larger group of people.
The Chef’s table was magnificent! The food was delicious and the chef interacted with our group on another level. Definitely could’ve been our energy for sure.

We and the party with whom we traveled had unused Future Cruise Credits from prior bookings that the cruise line canceled due to COVID. Laura took over our booking process and parlayed the FCCs into new bookings for us, communicating with us in timely manner to make final plans concerning staterooms and payments. She also forwarded important cruise line communications to us concerning itinerary changes. Overall, Laura assisted us in prompt and professional way.
We are a group of 4 women who are repeat customers of Love Your Getaway. We recently traveled to Italy and then cruised the Mediterranian and we didn’t hesitate to go back to Laura, our Love Your Getaway agent, because she does such a fabulous job! Between us travelers, we already had some freebies i.e. hotel rooms and the cruise but we had gaps of time we needed to fill. Laura was willing to take that on and help us plan the rest.
The first part of our trip, we needed rail tickets from Rome to Napoli, private transportation to and accommodations on the Amalfi Coast. Laura has great contacts and relationships with a network of providers and was able to find exactly what we needed well within our budget. We don’t know how she does it but every time we’ve worked with her she knocks it out of the park!
She suggested we take the Fresciarossa (Trentalia fast train) from Rome to Napoli and also recommended Business Class where there is more room, good service and ample space for luggage. Not only that, the fare was only about $10 more per ticket. It was so much better for us since we had heavy suitcases and it would have been next to impossible to hoist them up on the overhead racks in economy. Plus, the fast train took just over an hour between the cities.
The private transportation service picked us up in a Mercedes van with plenty of room for us to sit comfortably and store our luggage in the back. The driver was prompt (waiting for us at the train station with clearly marked sign) professional, friendly and courteous and spoke very good English. Both drivers, the one from Napoli and the one back from Positano on the Amalfi Coast, answered our questions about the area and even gave commentary on many sights along the way making the hour long trip very enjoyable.
We loved the hotel Conca D’Oro in Positano where we enjoyed a spectacular view of the coast from our rooms. The staff was absolutely wonderful and so helpful. In fact, when we checked in at the front desk, we were welcomed by Marco with champagne! The hotel had the charm of the old world Amalfi coast with beautiful ceramic tiled floors and walls but it also had all the modern features. Spacious and nicely appointed rooms with very nice amenities in the bathrooms. We also had a terrace where we could open the double doors to let in the fresh breeze from the sea and look out over the gorgeous, sun drenched coastline.
Laura also booked us some day tours – one to Capri which was outstanding. We boarded a boat in Positano and enjoyed a fantastic 1-1/2 hour ride along the coast that gave us incredible views of Amalfi with the multicolored landscapes of ancient villages and towns. The captain of the boat had refreshments in a cooler and was kind enough to take us up close to the shore in ½ a dozen places along the way to show us the beautiful colors of the coral and the crystal clear aquamarine hues of the Mediterranian.
We had a tour booked to go to Pompeii but could not go because we found out we had to board the ship in Napoli earlier than expected. However, I texted Laura over the weekend to ask her advice and get additional info on the tour times and she immediately got back to me and answered all my questions. She is always completely accessible which is priceless when you are on in a foreign country!
Another marvelous part of her personalized service is that she not only sends email/text updates, she also mailed us a package of all the printed out forms and tickets in perfect order. She is a perfectionist and very thorough to make sure each traveler is completely prepared and equipped for a most memorable adventure.
What we love about Laura as our travel agent is that she doesn’t mind if we make some of our plans ourselves. She pitches in and is glad to tackle any and every challenge there is to make sure that our vacation is a great experience. She. Never. Fails. Us!!!
We will ALWAYS come back to Laura and Love Your Getaway because it is painless and worry free!

Working with Laura at Love Your Getaway was an absolute delight! She is so enthusiastic to help plan the vacation that you are dreaming of and she does everything in her power to make it all a reality. She is totally flexible in that I had arranged some of the aspects of the trip already but needed her expertise and advice to fill in all the gaps such as what sights to see and tours to arrange. As most travelers, we had a spending amount in mind and once we told her, she was able to find us very nice accommodations within the parameters we set i.e. room rates, types of rooms, convenience to areas we desired, etc.
We went to Italy and one week was spent in Tuscany. Logistically, it could have been a nightmare since none of us had the guts to drive a car there! However, Laura made great suggestions and had wonderful recommendations using her professional connections and the ‘payoff’ was a magical experience for us. She not only found us a fantastic driving service who provided a driver for the entire week, but also, set up incredible touring experiences tailored to our preferences. Every place we were interested in seeing, Laura made sure each tour and guide gave us the ultimate experience.
She also recommended the high speed rail (TrenItalia) to travel between major points i.e. Venice, Florence and Siena. It proved to be the best option and we had great fun traveling on the train. Laura made sure she coordinated the times and every detail to insure our navigating of the Italian transportation system was stress free! She organized all our paperwork i.e. paid vouchers and tickets in order of which days we would need them and printed our entire itinerary. In addition, she called me and reviewed each item with me prior to our departure. Even during the trip, we decided we wanted to change one of the tours and all I had to do was text Laura and she immediately arranged for the change.
For someone who hardly ever uses a travel agent for planning vacation, I can say unequivocally that I will ALWAYS and FOREVERMORE be calling Laura De La Horra to handle everything! She is simply THE BEST!
