We had someone that had a few physical difficulties that wanted to join us on this tour. She spoke with Debbie, who in turn spoke with Collette and it was decided that this may not have been the tour for them. As we were on the tour, we agreed that it was unfortunate but it was the absolute correct answer. Debbie is always available to help or answer questions. The entire staff on the Adventure of the Seas were amazing! Their training in customer service was top-notch and appreciated! Our dining experience in the Dining Room was spectacular! We chose to have the same table at the same time and were blown away by the table service provided by our waiter Gusti and his assistant, Gedi! All of our dinners were beautifully prepared, presented and plentiful! I taught my kids that it was okay to order three...or four appetizers as long as they ate them all!
The entertainment was wide-ranging and very good! Our three cabins served our family quite well and the pricing was very reasonable. The ship itself is "loved" but well-maintained.
We would highly recommend Royal Caribbean and can't wait to sail again!

MSC cruise on the Meraviglia was a terrific experience. In particular, being in the Yacht Club was a first class experience. Numerous "Perks" including Private Dining, Pool, buffet restaurant and top shelf drink packages. There was even the ability to enable "Priority Elevator" service if required. The ship was beautiful and the crew terrific. I would highly recommend MSC overall and will no doubt book additional cruises with MSC

We're glad we chose Princess for our 7 day cruise/4 day land tour. The ship was lovely and the staff were especially friendly. Princess handled all of the logistics from check-in, excursions, transfers, luggage handling, etc., with precision. We felt well taken care of. Our mini-suite on Deck 9, Port was spacious with a large bathroom and good closet and shelf storage. We used our full sized balcony for excellent viewing during the Glacier Bay visit. Dinners in the Bordeaux Dining Room were nice, but seating for Anytime dining was slow, with use of pagers on two nights. The Horizon Court buffet was crowded for lunch at times. Food was adequate, but the layout was once-through "cafeteria" style with beverages and desserts served "at the end of the line." Breakfast service in the Provence Dining Room was excellent and so was room service breakfast. We tried both specialty restaurants: Sabatini's was good, Bayou not so much. The weakest part of the cruise was entertainment. Two of the three production shows were weak. One cabaret performer, a "comedic magician," was just awful, and he performed on two nights! Musical performers throughout the ship, with one or two exceptions, seemed to be going through the motions. Other aspects of the ship were on par with other cruise lines -- shopping, pools, spa, library. On the land part of the tour we were pleased with the train trip to Denali. The ride was comfortable, the scenery was interesting and the tour guide was friendly and engaging. The Princess Denali Lodge, while adequate, could use a makeover. Time at Denali was limited and the weather was rainy, but the morning bus tour was interesting with a very engaging driver/guide. We wish we had more time there. Two days at the Fairbanks Lodge were comfortable, although the restaurant service was spotty and food was expensive. We really enjoyed the riverboat and gold mining excursions in Fairbanks, probably the best of the entire trip. Overall, this was a great experience that we can recommend to others interested in Alaska travel.
