On the other hand, after our recent experience on the Carnival Vista (8/10/24-8/18/24 sailing), our once-in-a-lifetime Southern Caribbean cruise was absolutely destroyed due to Carnival’s poor business management.
We would never & I repeat never book a Carnival cruise ever again, nor with any of their subordinate cruise lines. The underlying cause of our cruise being ruined was Carnival’s total failure to properly & competently maintain their equipment. All of the other factors that are highly publicized about this controversial cruise are secondary to that fact.
The Captain being apathetic & laughing at the upset passengers inflamed the fans of discontent among the passengers & greatly contributed to this mess. He needs to find himself unemployed, because ultimately in the maritime environment, HE is responsible for the operation of his ship, and everyone/everything on it. He failed. He bragged that he’s a former Naval Officer in the Italian Navy & he knows this.
In the future, we’ll definately be utilizing Mrs. Mattern’s superior services to book our vacations, and we highly recommend that you do as well!- Christopher T.

I had the trip of my life in 2017. I retired and left for Europe and with Lisa's help had tour guides, experiences and memories I will never forget.
Where to even start? Our trip was delayed with Covid and Lisa was by our side the entire time handling all of the stress for us while we got to sit back and relax. She was able to reschedule our entire honeymoon to Ireland at no additional cost! We didn’t have to do a thing, just show up for our flight! The CIE tour to Ireland was incredible and is also highly recommended. Returning home, our connecting flight from Chicago to detroit was canceled at midnight. We had been at the Chicago airport for 12 hours and was beyond tired. Multiple flights were canceled that night, and there were no flights available for 2 days and no rental cars from the multiple vendors. At midnight, Lisa spent around an hour with no complaints and worked endlessly until she found us a rental car to get us home. Many others at the airport were stranded without cars but thanks to Lisa, we made it home! We are so thankful for Lisa otherwise we never would have made it to Ireland in the first place, and also never would have made it back! Highly recommended and will be using again!- Jesse S.
Our trip to Hotel Zilara in Dominican Republic began in December 2020 when Lisa recommended, then planned our entire trip in September 2021. It was the best vacation we have ever been on and Lisa made it so. The VIP service through immigration, passing everyone, private transportation to the hotel, an awesome poolside room, and every restaurant, all the entertainment, and activities that she guided us to were fantastic. We drove to Miami Florida last week to see family. Took 2 1/2 days to get there. My travel agent booked my hotels. Listened to us like how much do we wanted to spend, breakfast no breakfast and we got to our hotel in Orlando and a drug deal was happening in the parking lot and now one was around. I was freaking out in the room called my friend Lisa Gregory-Mattern from danli cruise planners
told her what was happening and not only did i get my
Money back but also a new upgraded room at a beautiful hotel for almost the same price.

I had a group of eight, four experienced and four new cruisers. Everyone had a great time on ship. We enjoyed the specialty dinners, the meals were superb. Our balcony rooms were well appointed and having a coffee pot in room was a really nice change from past cruises.
Being able to set up our excursions in advance made day one so much smoother for my new cruisers.

Recently traveled on the Allure of the Seas with DanLi Cruise Planners, and it was incredible. We did not have to worry about anything, and if something did come up, Lisa and Dan were always there to help figure it out. We did a Brewery Tour excursion on St. Kitts that Lisa had set up for us.
