Older - smaller ship. Only 1 specialty restaurant. Cruise director just took over and was not very good. Officers were not easily accessible/visible. Did a jr suite to get double the points. Mixed drinks were a bit small. I would not return to that ship.- Bruce K.
What a spectacular and amazing vacation we had on Disney’s “Wish” Cruise Ship. Something for everyone! Castaway Disneys island was so very beautiful. We were able to meet many Disneys characters and even book a couple excursions. The water was simply amazing and the whole family had a blast. The ship it self is beyond stunning- the food was delicious and we never went without. Night life was always a must. The show’s were all a hit and a must to see! We will definitely be sailing again soon. Until then … we will cherish all the many great memories we made on the “WISH” DISNEY'S Cruise Line.- Sara S.

Antonella managed every bit of our vacation perfectly. She was always in communication with us and made sure we knew about excursions being offered and opportunities not to be missed. Bermuda - love love love. Beautiful port and loved the fact that we could take our time touring given the nice long stay. As for NCL and the Dawn in particular, a few pros, but more cons.
NCL - we didn't really like the uber relaxed atmosphere. We missed the "required" formal night and shorts and ballhats in the dining room just didn't seem right. The very low price of the cruise and probably the convenience of leaving from Boston led to a very "eclectic" group of passengers. I'm not kidding you when I say day one we saw a woman in the buffet yelling at her family...not a tooth in her mouth. We ran into some serious service problems while we were there....cold food, extreme waits, and 2 incidents of such terrible room service that they were sending us truffles and wine for all of their screw ups.
Dawn - I LOVED the fact they had a baby/toddler play room - I've never seen that on other ships, the groups are always age 3 and up. You can't leave them unattended of course (no babysitting) but that's fine...it was just nice to go to the play groups. The entertainment venues were nice - especially the pub. The Dawn has a true promenade deck which is nice, and the biggest stateroom bathroom I've ever had. The ship itself though is tired and dated. The carpets were stained, our bathroom fixtures looked dirty but they weren't - just stained and marked up. I also really missed the grand atrium of the Princess ships.
All in all after much discussion, we decided we'd do it again only because of the price and convenience of leaving from Boston, but we'd never choose NLC if there was another option.
