i've used Randy at Cruise Planners for years and 1st time reviewing. He's awesome and only way i made reservations for last 10 years and going forward. One incident that stands out is when airline changed my flight schedule he was there to research and reschedule with short delay, and at a lower cost. another, when Covid hit and derailed my bucket list trip to Asia, he was there to handle all of the refunds and hassle that goes with. Our annual trip to Jamaica, no problem there either. When my wife's father suffered failing health and passed 2 months later, he was there to reschedule not once, not twice, but 3 times until after the funeral. Although a sad time for us, he took a load off and we eventually got the chance to go and recharge on a Jamaican beach.- Scott K.

My first cruise in 20+ years, first solo. The Solo group really upended preconceived notions. I’m 73 and many were in my age range. NCL had a dedicated staff member who met with us every evening. He was very skilled in helping the people mix, including dinner suggestions. Once we decorated Tshirts that he brought for the Glow Party.
We met in the wine cellar, and I was very impressed my name was remembered by the sommelier the next day. The port tours were very interesting but I especially loved getting to know many people, fellow cruisers as well as such friendly helpful staff. The few times I did eat alone were comfortable, often chatting with diners nearby. I was extremely anxious about going on this trip, had so many worries and questions. Just wanted to check in with you to tell you that myself and my family had an amazing time on our recent cruise to Cozumel! The beach was beautiful and we did some snorkeling and my sister and I got massages on the beach! Wish we could have stayed in Cozumel longer! The boat was beautiful and our accomodations were fantastic. We loved our rooms and our hotel rooms in Galveston were perfect! I can't thank you enough for setting this all up for my family.
On that note, I am ready to go on my next cruise!! Some people we met on the cruise suggested Royal Caribbean I believe for the next cruise. I think you suggested that also. Would love to hear some suggestions for the next cruise..

Kelly planned our trip to the Grand Canyon. It was a fabulous trip. We had a wonderful time. The cottage room was amazing, wish we could of stayed longer. The train was fun; they even brought us an anniversary card from the train company. The mule ride was just the right amount of time and awesome. A review of my families cruise to the Western Caribbean. I decided on using a travel agent to help me plan my families cruise. After doing a little searching on the internet I came across Randy Hobday with Cruise Planners/Daylee Travel in the area I live in. I contacted Randy and explained to him that I wanted to take my four kids, wife, and myself on a cruise. I explained to Randy what my limitations were as far as expenses and the types of excursions I thought they would like. Randy and I spoke on the phone several times throughout this process because our plans and what we wanted to do kept changing. Randy was always willing to change directions and accommodate us every time. We met on one occasion and he went over all the ins and outs of the different cruise companies and what to expect on each one. We eventually chose Carnival Cruises because they offered a little more for kids.
Randy did great work, he was able to find us a cruise on Carnival Magic that was within our price range and we were able to get two rooms that were next to each other. The kids had their own room and my wife and I had the other. Once the actual cruise was decided upon it was time to decide on excursions while in foreign countries. Again Randy came through for us. He advised that we didn't absolutely need to have passports but highly recommended them. The passports for six people were not cheap but well worth the time and money spent for them. (More on the passports later.)
I had inquired from Randy on which excursions he would recommend. Randy provided a company called ShoreTrips. ShoreTrips has a large variety of excursions to choose from, some are exactly like the ones offered by the cruise lines some are not. Randy had explained to me that I could choose either the cruise line for my excursions or a third party company. He advised that normally the third party companies had smaller groups of people and provided a more intimate excursion. We chose to try the third party company and were blown away by the level of professionalism offered by ShoreTrips.
Randy with Cruise Planners/Daylee travel is a top rated travel agent and I will definitely use his services in the future when traveling. He was able to answer or get the answers to all my questions. He is very knowledgeable about the different cruise ships and activities that are available to passengers. - Clinton W.
I want to express my sincere thanks for your very efficient and friendly service; your availability to answer questions and willingness to go above and beyond in providing truly exceptional service is so appreciated. We enjoyed an excellent cruise experience and the boys especially had a blast. The staterooms were especially awesome; don't know if you're aware that our rooms were brand new and added with the recent refurbishing (back on line only since Feb). They were basically brand new and especially spacious and we loved the fact that they were inter-connecting. So, great job there. Shore excursions too were quite good. We were very pleased with the transfers you arranged--good service and at good price, so good job there too. Finally, I've been back only 2 days and have had conversations with my son who wants to do Western Caribbean on Oasis, probably in Nov or Dec. he was as thrilled as was I with our Oasis Eastern Caribbean cruise last Nov. Had it at 10:30 in the morning with mimosa's, Bloody Mary's, OJ, etc. at the high dive area and we had a mini dive show just for us. Randy was amazing with booking our honeymoon cruise and answering all my off-the-wall questions. If he didn't know an answer it took him less than a day to get back to me with the answer. Our honeymoon was the best it could possibly be and Randy is the only travel agent I will use in the future.
We took a 7-night Disney cruise out of Galveston that stopped at Grand Cayman, Costa Maya and Cozymel. Our favorite port was Cozymel by far, we did the dolphin swim at Dolphinaris and it was wonderful, plus there was tons of shopping and fun restaurants.
The boat we cruised on was the Magic, our favorite part about the boat was Palo, we ate both a dinner and a brunch there and they were phenomenal.
