I have always had a love affair with the sea.  I believe it stems from my grandparents taking me on San Francisco Bay area cruises.  The ocean is so vast with so much to learn, and every time you go out on her it's a new adventure.  I found cruising to be a valuable outlet for my love of the sea without having to work as a sailor.  Cruses bring so much value to travelers at such a nominal price dependent on their wishes.  

As for my previous work, I worked my way up in food service and hospitality industries before spending the last ten years working in logistics for Amazon.com. I worked my way up from a simple quality control associate to the Training Manager of a site that literally relaunched 7 times in the first two years of operations, including up to three business types simultaneously operating in the same building.
