I recently returned from a very extensive trip to Bhutan and Tibet which was planned and coordinated by James Wigdel and Roy Wong of Honu Adventures. This was a trip of a lifetime for me and I am an experienced solo traveler. This type of trip requires an experienced travel group to obtain permits, plan airline travel and coordinate all the activities.
James and Roy have helped many travelers make plans to visit Bhutan and have established a close relationship with the Bhutan guide Ugyen Wangchuk of Gomo Adventure
Bhutan is a beautiful country with beautiful people. We saw many extraordinary sights. I did break a footbone in the beginning while in Bangkok. I chose to continue with a “boot”. With the support of Ugyen and his son and driver I never missed any activities. It was an incredible trip.
Tibet was a challenge with my foot issue and the altitude but it was worth all the effort. Potala Palace and Everest Basecamp with Mt Everest looking at us was incredible
James was in contact with me through this 5 week trip and was able to always smooth the way when I had obstacles in thank he and Roy very much. I highly recommend Honu Adventure to all persons planning this trip or other adventures and cruises.- Teri R.

Working with Honu Adventures was a pleasure from start to finish. Our adventure started when we were speaking with them about an all-inclusive vacation in Mexico with some friends. After much research, Jim came up with great options until we had a pull the plug at the eleventh hour due to some expired passport issues with the friends we were going to travel with. Honu was very patient and understanding. Which led us to talk to them about a possible cruise.
My husband and I were cruise virgins, not knowing anything about how they operate, what are the best lines, etc. Jim walked us through the entire process and helped us select the bet option for an easy "starter cruise."
The entire process was very smooth and easy from start to finish, and Jim and Roy were both available the entire time to answer all our questions, up to an including the night we were packing to go.

WoW!! We are so impressed!! From the moment we arrived at JFK ( our flight was delayed but the driver was there at the curb waiting for us 5 hours late). The show suggestions and the tickets were outstanding. Due to James' extensive experience he was able to make some other terrific suggestions.

Planning our trip to San Francisco and the Napa Valley area was a breeze with the assistance of Roy with Cruise Planners. We met through a telephone conversation and after a discussion about my travel plans, Roy immediately began planning our itinerary. Several conversations and tweaks later our itinerary was complete. Each tour that he planned was perfect. We were picked up at the designated location and times. We learned a great deal on every tour.
