We recently booked our first cruise with Hunt Drouin. He listened to our preferences and recommended a 7 Day Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Cruise Line. The stage rooms were located in the middle of the ship and we did not have to worry about getting sea sick. The excursion recommendations were well thought out and we had a fantastic time. My husband and I went on an amazing 7 day cruise to Alaska out of Vancouver from September 15-22, 2024. We had the time of our lives in Alaska and experience memories that will last a lifetime. Some of excursions included: riding the gondola to the top of a mountain at Icy Straight Point, hiking the pine tree wilderness, riding the White Pass Railroad train in Skagway to the Ukon territory in Canada along with a delicious salmon bake, whale watching in Juneau with another wonderful salmon bake surrounded by twin waterfall & streams and shopping & dining in Skagway and Ketchikan.
Our experience on the Celebrity Solstice was an A+++. The staff, dining, entertainment and activities on the ship were exceptional.
I cannot thank Hunt Drouin, our cruise planner and friend enough for recommending this cruise for us. Hunt was there with us every step of the way. Booking the flight and hotels with you was so helpful and easy! We had no idea of where to start. We got a great deal on the flights and it made it seems like the hotels were almost free.
The hotels you recommended were perfectly located in the center of everything in London and Edinburgh. The rooms were modern and beautiful. The staff were so helpful with guiding us to the best places to visit.

Holland America Noordam has been the right ship for us. Watching the other cruise lines has emphasized that! Fewer people, less cattle car feeling! Love kids but glad they are not prevalent on board.
You probably know this already, but Holland America “owns” the best berthing spots due to their longevity in the market. We watched the Crown Princess tender in both Juneau and Skagway while we were in the prime berth. In Skagway they had to tender even tied to the pier as they were inboard at the rock fall pier. Their sister ship was further out and had to shuttle out the pier. The lines for both ships were soo long!
We get no where close to 15 drinks each a day, but I think we do enough to make it worth it on balance!
We have really enjoyed our excursions. The in dependent one in Ketchikan was great.

I've always thought going on a cruise would be really bad idea for me, but I recently thought about how a cruise could be a great turn-key vacation for us.
