My cruise planner's best asset is her communication. She was prompt with responses to any questions I had and created a Facebook page for the cruise date/sailing on which others who were cruising could communicate with her and with each other before, DURING and AFTER the cruise with any questions they had or to just share their experiences. In other words, her trip "advising" was not limited to selling/making the cruise reservation or limited to responding to inquiries from her clients only. For reference, I was not a client of my planner initially. I booked a cruise on the Regal Princess for Nov 2024 through another agency. The cruise was cancelled and I subsequently booked the "new" cruise through my "cruise planner" while being a member of the FB group she had created for the original sail date. I appreciated the service she was providing the the cruisers on the FB group.

Ginger has made cruise booking so much easier!
I did not know Ginger personally. She messaged me taking great umbrage to a Facebook post where I said I always booked my own cruises because no one had been able to show me any benefit of having a travel agent involved. Our very friendly contact turned into a very friendly bet: I challenged Ginger to provide me with a benefit for a very expensive (for me) SE Asia cruise on NCL.
Ginger got me the the same cruise for nearly 20% less!
I REALLY hate losing. But I got a much less expensive cruise and Ginger got several bottles of my favorite Chardonnay. I will happily "lose" to Ginger every day!
