Review of Our Recent Trip to the Dominican Republic We recently returned from a trip to the Dominican Republic, which we booked through Cruise Planners and American Airlines Vacations. Overall, we had a fantastic time. Resort: We stayed at the Iberostar Selection Bávaro Suites. The resort was amazing, with a compact layout that made it easy to walk around, which we loved. It was beautiful and had outstanding amenities, including a great pool and kid area. Food: The food was the best we've ever had at any all-inclusive resort. Simply amazing! Too good. ???? Staff: The staff were okay, though a bit rude at times. They were far from as friendly as the staff at Planet Hollywood in Costa Rica. Rooms: The two adjoining rooms we stayed in were old, dated, and slightly dirty. We were not impressed with them at all. However, since we spent very little time in them, this didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of our vacation. Overall, we were very happy with the trip. However, if we ever return to the Dominican Republic, we would prefer to stay at a different resort. - Adam D.
