From relaxing on the best beaches in the world in Hawaii, Tahiti, Mexico, and the Caribbean, to taking a crazy self-driving trip on the wrong side of the road through England, a much more enjoyable motorcoach trip along the Mediterranean coast of Croatia, a leisurely float down the many rivers of Europe on a unique small ship and cruising the seven seas on large and small ocean ships, I have done it all.

My wife and I were extremely fortunate to meet Alison Rodrick in 2006. After the first cruise vacation she planned for us, we knew she was the only travel agent that we will ever use. Over the past 15 years she has sent us on numerous cruises and land tours, each flawlessly planned. What is it that makes Alison stand out from other agents? She loves her work and is willing to spend whatever time is needed to understand our interests and our goals. Once she knows what we are thinking, she delves into her vast experience, asking questions , and making suggestions. Our interest in a Panama Canal cruise blossoms into a repositioning cruise that starts in Florida, passes through the Canal, and ends in Los Angeles. Alison knows which cruise line would best match our needs in Alaska . She knows what river cruise ship we should take on the Danube. She booked us into an historic hotel on the oldest canal in Amsterdam and, on another trip, into a tiny hotel in the Roman Forum. She finds the most extraordinary excursions, like a tour of the Roman Colosseum that extended from the sub-level where the animals were kept to the heights of the upper level. We will never forget standing where the gladiators had fought. Alison wants every vacation to be a dream vacation. She works hard on the itinerary and works just as hard to get the best pricing. The packet she gives us before our trip is always complete and has never contained a mistake, not even one. When we return from our trip, we often will discuss the trip with Alison. I have one more story. In 2016, I suffered a serious leg injury while on a South American cruise. Our first phone call was to Alison. She started the process so that I could be evacuated from Peru to San Francisco for surgery. Her insistence that we have travel insurance saved us tens of thousands of dollars. As I said earlier, Alison is the only travel agent my wife and I will ever use.- William S.
