When we stumbled upon Linda at a mall travel kiosk last year, we had just stopped to ask about about helping us look into an Alaska Cruise for 2020. She is very personable and has a great deal of knowledge when it came to cruising so we had her book us onto a cruise for July 2020. Unfortunately given the tumultuous year this has been, we were forced to cancel and based on Lindas advice we were able to do so without losing the main cruise fare. When we had some issues getting our money back for all of the excursion we had booked as well as the packages, Linda somehow managed to get through all of the chaos that is Royal Caribbean right now and was able to get them to approve the return of the remainder they owed us. I will continue to use Linda as my travel agent because she really seems to care about us as human beings instead of just clients. You don't get that kind of customer service from everyone. I will say that we had a wonderful time on Liberty of the Seas. The crew is on target and the whole experience was first class. We dined in the main room primarily for dinner and was very impressed by the menu and level of service each night. We both did the Deluxe drink package which was well worth it. It includes several things, alcohol and non-alcohol. The entertainment was top notch as well. We went to all the shows, comedians, ice show, musicals. All were very good and very well produced. The ship is very tidy and clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our room choice overlooking the atrium/.promenade areas. It was on the 8th floor, so an easy walk up to pools and activities and convenient easy walk down to the main dining rooms. The room attendants are very helpful as well. We loved the level of service on Royal Caribbean. I've only been on one other cruise before on Carnival, and Royal Caribbean blows them out of the water for cleanliness, friendliness and overall customer service. They really go out of the way to treat you like Royalty. We will cruise with Royal Caribbean again in the future. Thank you so much for everything. David - David P.

We can never thank you enough for your attention and detail that made our trip so special. The dinner you gifted us was just awesome and we were waited on hand and foot. We also got a congratulatory card from the ship’s captain. We had the MOST awesome time! We did not want to get off the ship – just wanted to turn around and go back. Hard to believe but we had sunshine every single day – only a brief (30 minute) shower in Sitka. The entire ship’s crew kept saying, “This never happens. This never happens’. It had rained every day the week before. Even Seattle was 75 and sunny (we stayed overnight there both going and coming). We really cannot pinpoint one thing that was the highlight of our cruise as each place and each experience was special in its own way. We are into nature, culture and history and each place was special. We took the whale watching tour and saw ‘whales’ of Orcas. The tour guide said it was the first day they had seen them this year – guess it was the warm weather. Also saw humpbacks. BUT, we also saw whales of whales from the ship – they were everywhere! There was not as much ice in Glacier Bay as we expected – suppose it was the time of year – but there was ice and we loved it! Sitka was very special as well as Victoria. It was all just very, very special and very, very beautiful! SO glad my husband chose Alaska! Would do it again in a heartbeat! The entire trip went very smoothly – no glitches at all. If we are ever blessed to do another cruise I would definitely choose HollandAmerica as they seem to cater to our age group (not into the wild parties I hear Carnival tours experience).
