This small town girl had dreams of seeing the world and with a little help from joining the US Air Force my dream came true. My first passport stamp was in Japan and while it was not a vacation for me, it was the beginning of my travel adventures. Going to a place where I didn't know the language was an experience I will never forget!
Looking back over my travels has been a blessing and inspiration to owning my own travel business. I have white water rafted and zip lined tropical rain forest in Costa Rica, saw the pyramids in Egypt, awed at the Mayan Ruins in Mexico, stayed in castles in Ireland and smelled the fresh air of Alaska. That is just a few of my journey's and most certainly not the end. I believe travel is a destination everyone can do with a little planning. This was our first time in the Dominican Republic. Pros: Getting there was easy, no problems. We felt safe. The Secret Tides Resort was very nice, clean, and had a respectful cliental. The service was pleasant. Cons: The food was not good at all. We bought the Preferred package when we got there and it really was not worth it. If I had to chose over again, I would prefer Mexico. And the seaweed was pretty bad during June so we did not get to spend anytime at the beach.- Julie D.

Hands on quality service is the best way to sum up this wonderful trip. Before the start of the trip, we had a 4 hour weather delay, Kristi checked on us as we waited for our plane to take off, called the hotel to inform them of the delay and watched the weather until we were able to depart. She provided recommendations for food and activities for each city. One amazing part of the trip was the smooth transition from one city to the next one. No waiting in the hotel lobby or finding something to do because the train was scheduled to leave 4 hours after checkout. We have looked into taking a Senior trip with our family and our travel agent has spent countless hours providing us with trip details on every place that we have wanted to go even after we changed our minds several times.
Well for starts I never thought I would ever need a travel agent.
