Live. Love. Travel. That's our motto! While on our 19th cruise and after being retired from federal civil service for 6 years, I suddenly realized I could do this! I should do this! I could help others enjoy life even more through the wonder of travel. And when I wasn't traveling, I could live vicariously through my clients' travel experiences! Cruise Planners was the perfect avenue, with its exceptional reputation for quality, service, and extremely competitive pricing. I wanted to be associated with excellence, so what better way than becoming a Cruise Planners franchisee and owning my own travel agency?
My passion for travel was sparked over 40 years ago when we went on our honeymoon to California, visiting Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and SeaWorld San Diego. Since then, we've visited Hawaii three times, both by land and sea, and took a road trip with the kids from Texas to Disneyworld in Florida, sightseeing along the way in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Then, in 1997, we went on our first cruise on the Carnival Sensation out of Miami, Florida, and we were hooked on cruising! We have ventured across the world, by land and by sea, to the Western, Eastern, and Southern Caribbean, including the Bahamas, cruised Glacier Bay in Alaska, went whale-watching there, and fished for salmon; we even took a river cruise on the legendary Rhine, featuring stops in Switzerland, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. My personal favorite was an absolutely stunning Mediterranean cruise to Italy, Greece, and Malta, and a couple of years later we went on another, this time from Venice to Rome, visiting ports in Croatia and Montenegro along the Dalmatian coast. We've enjoyed all our travels, from snow-skiing in New Mexico, Colorado, and Lake Tahoe, to gambling and attending the NFR in Las Vegas, to marveling at the beauty of spring and the awe of fall in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, to shopping, the theater, and sightseeing in New York City, and visiting monuments and museums in Washington, DC. We enjoyed adventures in England, Scotland, and Ireland, visiting castles, cathedrals, and museums, and drinking Scotch whisky and Guinness.

This was our first time to use a travel agent. Gail was AMAZiNG. 1/2 of our party got delayed due to flight cancelations. Gail stepped into action to ensure they were able change the dates at the resort. She was able to get our travel info changed. so we could enjoy additional time with our family. Gail did an outstanding job putting our trip to the Great Lakes together. Gail did an amazing job for our 30th anniversary trip to Cabo. She went over and above her duties. We ended up getting Covid there. Gail helped to rearrange our flights for the extra days during quarantine. She was so very kind, checking in on us to make sure we were well taken care of. Our second leg of our return flight back was canceled because of bad weather so Gail once again stepped up to assist us getting flights changed to ensure we could get home the next day. She did this even though it was very late in the evening.

Gail is an amazing planner! We recently went on a trip to Disney World with a total of 13 in our party and she helped us plan the whole thing, I’m talking over a year in the making!! She kept us up to date on all the changes & rules due to Covid. She kept us up to date on Genie+, dining reservations, she helped us adjust certain aspects of our reservations and if she couldn’t she was on hold with a Disney employee trying to figure it out. We got our room numbers while waiting for Magical Express in the airport, my parents' room was not near the rest of our party. We called Gail right away and she helped us sort it all out.
