COVID Vacation I recently took a trip during Covid to Mexico. Kelley Austin is our agent and she was excellent. She prepared us for every situation. Our trip was wonderful. When we arrived there was an expected hurricane. All protocol done by the hotel was expected and done well. We had to head to our rooms early that evening. A meal was delivered for dinner. The next morning breakfast was open and we started our day. The storm had blown past us. Minor water in our room but the resort took care of that promptly. The restaurants were excellent. The pools were very nice. The staff was very pleasant and polite. We decided to get massages and the spa was wonderful. A very nice vacation and break in the normal mess of Covid. The hotel followed sanitation protocol. Masks were worn by all staff. I felt completely safe. Highly recommend an adult only resort as we were not travelling with children. Honeymoon I highly recommend using a travel agent through this agency for your next vacation! Alix is especially wonderful and will really help you find what you are looking for. I was recently married in August and although many suggested we hold off on booking our honeymoon trip we decided not to. Planning a wedding and honeymoon during a pandemic was extremely stressful to say the least. Our flight was cancelled multiple times by the airline, but Alix was always very quick to work with us and make sure our honeymoon would not get cancelled. We originally had our hearts set on Costa Rica, but learned less than a month before our trip that they would not allow any Americans to enter their country because of our unfortunate handling of COVID. We were pretty devastated. I didn’t have the capacity to re-plan the trip with the wedding being a few weeks away. Alix immediately figured out exactly which countries would allow us to travel into and with the least amount of restrictions so we could enjoy ourselves as much as possible. Limited with options, we settled on Cabo, Mexico and she quickly secured a beautiful resort that met our needs and expectations. I am a vegetarian and wanted to make sure our all inclusive resort would have options for me. Alix went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure of that for me. We felt very lucky to have found her and cruise planners to book our honeymoon. We had a wonderful trip and thank her whole heartedly for helping us out. Best Honeymoon Ever That was the most amazing trip I think we could ever go on!!! The first 2 days were spent just around the resort, snorkeling out of our bungalow, snorkeling in the lagoon and just enjoying the incredible views! We ended up going on a full day activity of the jeep 4x4 tour and then we did a jet ski tour! In between we got lunch at Bloody Mary's which was cool because that saved us a trip over to the main island!! The views were awesome as you know, and then 2 days after the tour we did the snorkel with sharks and stingrays! We won’t ever be able to thank you enough for putting everything together! A lot of people that I've talked to have asked me if at the end we were ready to get back to the US but as i tell them, the worst part of our trip was the walk to the dock knowing that we had to leave! Destination Wedding From the moment we first contacted Kelley seeking help for our destination wedding and honeymoon, we knew we had made the right choice. Sandals Honeymoon Kelley did an amazing job booking our honeymoon. She listened to exactly what I wanted - a tropical resort, lots of restaurants, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, and zip lining. Sandals Grand Antigua was PERFECT for us! We will definitely be coming back. Kelley is fast to respond to our needs and fast to book all our travel plans in the short time we gave her. She gave us this super cute travel pack that had our luggage tags, pins, koozies, and all of our travel arrangements in one place. That pouch came in SO handy the entire trip. Alaskan cruise - Kelley is a lifesaver! We were at the beginning of our Alaskan land tour/cruise (Celebrity Millenium) when my husband experienced an esphogus issues where he couldn't swallow solid food. I emailed Kelley and she promptly responded notifying the cruise and followed up with us and kept tabs on us the whole trip. The cruise dining staff were very accommodating thanks to Kelley's persistence and we ended up having a fabulous time. It is absolutely imperative to have a cruise planner like Kelley for not only ease and advice, but in case of emergency like we had! Amber and Chris's Destination Wedding - June 2016 I don't even know how to put into words how grateful we were to have such an amazing wedding that was coordinated from all the wedding planning to fine travel details so flawlessly! Our Hard Rock Destination Wedding - May 2016 After the initial excitement of getting engaged I knew that I would need to start planning a wedding and was immediately completely overwhelmed. I always wanted a destination wedding but was not sure where to start. I researched destination wedding and travel coordinators and picked out 3 people to contact. Kelley Austin was my second phone call. After speaking with her, I never made the 3rd call. Right away she made me feel at ease about the whole process. I was concerned about picking a venue in another country that I had never been to before. Kelley asked just the right questions and was able to make recommendations to help me choose the destination and resort that would best fit my vision for my wedding day. However, that was only the beginning. Over the next 8 months Kelley worked tirelessly to help keep myself, my guests and the resort all organized, informed and on the same page. The end result was a wedding event beyond anything I ever could have dreamed of. Absolutely amazing down to the very last detail! Most of those in our group were regular travelers and hard to impress but ALL raved about the trip the entire time and are still talking about it. Kelley is the ultimate, expert professional. Our Destination Wedding - November 2015 I don't know where to start.. Kelley was absolutely amazing and really helped make planning our destination wedding easy! From negotiating a great group rate and handling all 46 guests reservations to helping us plan our honeymoon, she was always there and easy to work with. Before working with Kelley we looked for days at countless resorts, but with her extensive knowledge of the riviera maya she was able to guide us to a great resort that she was personally familiar with. Knowing that we would be in good hands at the resort definitely helped ease some of our fears! As the trip came closer Kelley sent out great and informative packets to each guest so that they knew exactly what to do and expect. This really helped, as many of our guests had never been out of the country before. Kelley even went above and beyond days before the trip when a few family members had medical emergencies. She was able to quickly react and work with the resorts to modify their itineraries. Our Dominican Republic Honeymoon My husband and I used Kelley Austin from Cruise Planners as the travel agent for our honeymoon to the Dominican Republic.
