Jason was fantastic in scheduling (listening to what we wanted in hotel location and amenities, flights, travel insurance, etc.), during the trip (we had a need to utilize the travel insurance with a visit to a hospital abroad, also delays on the return to the States, airline lounge recommendations), and after the trip (help to file the insurance claim for the travel insurance). I would recommend Jason for any person who wants an extremely responsive, kind, caring, and knowledgeable travel agent to help them plan a fantastic vacation. This cruise was our favorite vacation we've ever taken, and we hope to return someday. Cruise was my first time. Just had to do it once. Wouldn't do it again. Ports were barely more than hi-priced tourist traps. Food aboard the Edge was first rate as was the service. Not many other things aboard that were of interest to me. The Aqua package was a most excellent choice.

We had a blast on our 10 day vacation onboard the Viking cruise ship which took us along the Danube River visiting various European countries. The trip was magical.

I would rate my MSC Cruise a 7/10. Food 5/10. Activities 6/10. Room 7/10. Shows 9/10. The Seaside is a bit small so outside of the pools there wasn’t as much to do. Most places felt cramped with tight walkways and low ceilings. Late night venues were standing room only at times. The smart elevators were a pain. Of the Production shows we saw they were excellent. Definitely a highlight of the cruise. Food was average at best. Buffet was always crowded and hard to navigate. Dinner wasn’t much better as nothing really stuck out and it seemed to take way too long to leave hungry. Our wait staff was very nice though. The private island is cool but the water was cold and the sand was rocky with big shell chunks. I had heard sea lice can be bad there but we didn’t have any issues. Our room was clean and the balcony was nice but we were extremely far away from the elevators and stairs. We did arrive with no wash clothes in the bathroom. I called to get some and the agent asked how many we needed then got snappy when I said 4. We eventually got 2 but they were not replaced at least once. I would rather do RC or Disney as my next cruise but I could she MSC being a better option than Carnival.

Kathy was very patient and helpful in helping plan this cruise, and when the cruise was canceled as soon as we reached the ship, she , being in a foreign country, still took time to work with us to get us back home. She was great to work with.
Our trip aboard the Viking Forseti Rivers and Wine in Bordeaux was beyond words. We were treated like family as soon as we stepped on the boat.. The staff, food, and bar service was second to none. Our tour guides at each stop were the best I have ever experienced. We will definitely book with Kathy and Viking again.

We had an amazing trip at the Paradisus Palma Real! The resort was very beautiful and clean. The recent remodeling really turned out well.
We really appreciated that the resort was kid friendly, not kid focused. As adults we could enjoy the relaxing, upscale ambiance of the resort, while they were still very accommodating to children. For example, a few restaurants made simpler meals to suit our kids’ taste. The kids had a great time and all they needed was a beach and a pool :)
The food was also very good. In particular, the Italian food was among the best we have had in years - we certainly were not expecting that in the Caribbean!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. For example, when Julie and I asked someone to take our picture, he spent a couple minutes taking different pictures from different angles trying to get the lighting just right. Everyone also made the kids feel special by talking to them or giving them high fives and so on.

Thank you Kathy. Our trip was terrific. Our bus driver Wade did a wonderful job. Our trip director did a good job. The rooms we stayed in were good. The Rustic Inn was excellent. The food was always in quantity but not always quality. But that is to be expected. The only problem we had was the last night before coming home, finding a way to get to the airport. The first trip I recall taking that Kathy helped plan was to the British Isles in 2014 ending in Paris with Globus, had a great time. We have averaged two trips a year since, over seas, rivers and land. She has worked very hard for us to get early booking discounts, on board perks, along with other great recommendations. We like her travel meetings where she presents at least 15 planned trips and often has cruise representatives there to give presentations. We currently have three trips planed for 2020 and one in 2021. When I heard there was a last minute opening on the Jewel of the Seas cruise to the Greek Islands this last spring, you somehow were able to get me booked on the direct flight from Charlotte to Rome and booked on this fantastic trip. When I arrived at the airport five hours early, I learned there was going to be a delay, so I checked my luggage and waited at the gate, only to learn a few minutes later that it had been canceled. There was a mad rush to try and get at least a hundred people rebooked, and I called you directly in Rome where you were able to make contact with Royal Caribbean people who could help get me on another flight. I made it to the gate only to be turned away as they could not confirm that my luggage was on board. Then you were able to help me get onto another flight into Barcelona, I believe, where I had only a few minutes to find the gate for my connecting flight...no success in finding someone who spoke English, but made it in time. Arriving in Rome, we learned that my luggage had not arrived, so continued in the van and became the last person to board the Jewel....whew!! Then you were so kind to help me with toiletries and a scarf to accessorize my one outfit that I thought I might be wearing for the entire 10-day trip, and then miraculously, my luggage was found and delivered to the ship in Mykonos. But once again, thanks to Kathy Kennedy for another spectacular trip-of-a-lifetime, which is how I think of all 14 trips (?) that I have been lucky enough to enjoy since meeting you three years ago. You always go above and beyond to make sure each person in our group has a fantastic memorable experience on these trips.

The trip ended in Amsterdam and Kathy suggested we add a couple days to see Amsterdam. And boy was she right. It is such a pretty city, but we wouldn’t have seen it if not for Kathy’s suggestion. This was our first cruise with Celebrity and we loved it. We sailed on Infinity. The price for a 5 night cruise Aqua Class was amazing. We did not book any extras offered as we don’t drink more than 3 drinks a day in a cruise. The Aqua Class was fantastic! Every extra touch was well worth it. Blu was phenomenal! This was our first trip with Kathy & Pat of Cruise Planners and it was a spectacular trip. Kathy definitely pays attention to detail and everything ran smoothly. From the bus transportation (hotel overnight in Jacksonville) to Port Canaveral, Florida where we boarded our ship, the Oasis of the Seas, to all details of the cruise and back again to Tennessee with a stop-over in Savannah where we partied and watched the Super Bowl, and then back to Johnson City, Tennessee. She took care of it all.
I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again. I will recommend Kathy & Pat Kennedy - Cruise Planners to anyone asking about our cruise.

Jason Poole is nothing shore of amazing! Very responsive to inquiries, very quick to fulfill requests and, when something doesn't go according to plan, Jason is there for you! On our recent cruise there was a problem with the ship that delayed boarding for approximately 7-8 hours. The cruise line made some accommodations but Jason felt the cruise line was not compensating us enough for the interruption of our vacation and the stress / discomfort we experienced. Without our asking, Jason went to the cruise line and got us a very generous on-board credit. Thanks Jason! That was great of you! Your made us feel special to be your customers! We'll be using Jason again!
