Collette's recent 12-day escorted trip to Italy was fantastic. I can only imagine how much more I got out of Collette's escorted tour than if I had traveled alone and had tried to see as many memorable sights as we did--in-depth. It would have been impossible to match the "Collette experience". At my age (81), I realistically will travel to those handful of countries I have never visited but want to be sure to tour, only once while I am still "ambulatory". It is important I get as much, learn as much, see as much, experience as much as only a Collette-escorted tour can provide.
Collette Italian Vistas tour was great. We are so happy we went on this tour. We saw so many highlights of Italy and learned so much. Massimo, our tour manager, is the best. He made the tour interesting, informative, and fun. He loves his job and it shows! The local tour guides (don't remember their names) were excellent also. We learned so much about Italy. Everyone was so kind. Our motor coach driver, Enea, did a great job getting us from destination to destination especially on narrow and winding roads. The accommodations were top notch. I wrote a testimony a couple of months ago about how helpful it was to make my travel plans through Mike and Fuller Travel World. Now, as I write this in late March, the whole world has changed with the coronavirus pandemic. Obviously we are not going on our cruise in a couple of weeks. But thank goodness I planned the whole trip with Mike. He has rallied to our cause and has been in touch with me on a daily basis. Thanks to Mike's wise council and insider knowledge we were able to cancel our cruise with no penalty and ended up with more future cruise credit than our original purchase price. He gave us good advice on how to use our trip insurance to reclaim our airfare. I consider myself to be an experienced traveler. For the last several years I have booked our own vacations myself through the airlines, hotels, and cruise companies. But last year I got to know Mike Fuller through a non-profit that we both support. My impression of Mike was that he is friendly, knowledgeable, and trust worthy. So when it came time to plan our cruise vacation in April I decided to ask Mike to help. All I can say is wow! I’ve been doing it wrong all these years. Mike got us great flights, a better cabin than we would have gotten on our own, and many extras that we really appreciate. When the airline made a schedule change that would have gotten us home later than we planned, Mike was on top of it right away and got us re-booked on alternate flights without any penalty.
