Our family had a wonderful time sailing on Norwegian Cruise Line from Vancouver BC to the Hawaiian Islands this summer! Jennifer was fabulous in helping us plan our cruise. This was our first cruise and Jennifer was very knowledgeable and patient explaining the booking process, the meal and entertainment packages, and the travel insurance. Most importantly, Jennifer has understanding for special travelers like our teenage son. She recommended cruise lines that were autism certified as well as explaining what the on-board culture and ship experience would be like for our son. She helped us pick out a stateroom where he would be comfortable; offered a private rather than group muster drill (the lifeboat drill); told us what to expect with onboard teen group activities; and informed us about the logistics of port calls in the Hawaiian Islands. Also, Jennifer made sure that our son had gluten-free meals (The food on Norwegian was awesome!). She even reached out to us before our trip to ask if we had any questions or concerns before sailing. We were trying to plan a 30-year anniversary European river cruise, but started a little late if we wanted a certain room type on a certain cruise. We decided to postpone it for a year. There were no regrets in delaying because it was still a wonderful cruise. Throughout the second half of our cruise, Jennifer stayed in very close contact with us due to unforeseen weather circumstances, which gave us much appreciated peace of mind.
On our last night as we sat at a table full of new friends, we were treated to a surprise anniversary cake. We looked at each other in bewilderment because we knew it wasn’t our anniversary. I would give Jennifer 10 stars if the app allowed me to! Jennifer helped me plan my dream trip to Italy, and it was the most perfect experience. From start to finish each detail went as planned. The hotels in Rome and Venice she found were clean, centrally located, had super nice and helpful employees, great breakfasts, and were a home base away from home. The guided tours she helped me choose worked out wonderfully as well. The guides met us at the right time and place, were very knowledgeable, and friendly. Our guide to Pompeii even made sure to make the day more interesting for my kids. Our pizza making class was the big win! It was small group (6) with one teacher. Everyone enjoyed the evening!
