The cruise on the Douro River Cruiser was fabulous, the scenery, the food, the staff, and the accomodations. The only difficulty with Gate 1 was their planning on the last day. Due to the Porto festival of St John, our ship was docked many miles from Porto (half hour drive)and our TAP flight back to the USA wasn't until 6:00pm. We had to wait at the dock location all day with nothing to do. If the planners could have delayed the cruise by a day or two, we could have docked at the old city of Porto and enjoyed one last day of exploring.- Linda Z.

Chandra and her Cruise Planners - Global Travel Pros staff curated an absolutely fabulous trip to Cape Town, Johannesburg, Karongwe Private Game Reserve, Zimbabwe, and Zambia to see the 8th Natural Wonder of the World, the stunningly beautiful Victoria Falls!!! This was our first cruise and we enjoyed it to the fullest. The cabin was nice and clean. The person assigned to 2419 kept our room cleaned and gave us fresh towels. I adored the towel animals left on the bed. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. We had a wonderful time. I also enjoyed the waiter at our 6:00 table 714. Her contacts in the Dominican Republic provided exceptional service and assisted us in our conversations for exchanging funds, mailing packages and returning to the airport. Two years ago, Chandra planned an extraordinary trip for my cousin’s bachelorette party to Cuba. From the time we landed, ALL of our traveling needs were met. She made accommodations for us to stay in an Airbnb that included a cook and housekeeping, all transportation was pre-arranged, and she suggested group tours that we thoroughly enjoyed, not to mention restaurants that we were able to experience amazing Cuban food and traditions.
Traveling to Cuba could have had many challenging moments with language barriers, strict laws, and unfamiliarity, instead it was the total opposite. Our tourist guides were amazing, our transportation always right outside of our door waiting for us, and with a big group of 13 women everything fell into place for us the entire time.. That is just what you get when you work with Chandra!
In a couple weeks my family and I will be experiencing the Disney Magic, an ocean voyage to the Bahamas where Disney has their own private island.
