Kelsey G As always, the Hunter family outdid themselves helping us plan this amazing experience. Some things about Alaska…the “season” for tourism is late March/early April to early/late October. There’s pros and cons to going at either end. For ours in mid-October, they only had one more ship left and they were done for the season. A lot of their population work in tourism and are seasonal residents. A lot of them had already left and moved on to other gigs (apparently, most go to Hawaii during this time). This means that a lot is closed - including stores, restaurants, and many excursion options. It all depends on what you wanna see. The salmon spawning, dog sledding, fishing, seeing lots of wildlife, all that will happen in the core season. We got extremely lucky with our weather so we saw a lot more wildlife than expected (not many fish or bears or deer/goats since it’s cold and/or they’re hibernating). Northern lights won’t really be a thing unless you’re going farther north like Anchorage area and you’re going in a time with typically good weather. There’s websites you can look at that’ll predict solar storms but just like the weather, it’s iffy to predict. October was cheaper but it is very cold and wet and if it’s not raining it’s cloudy, as most of Alaska is part of the Tongass rainforest. If I get another chance, I’ll go in the summer. But I will say, I’m happy we went when it was cold too because the nature, glaciers and tundras, are truly breathtaking. Choosing only 2 pictures/videos to showcase this was particularly difficult :) We already have another vacation booked with them coming up next year and we cannot wait to plan many more vacations with them! - Kelsey G.

Amazing Honeymoon Experience! Heidi was incredible to work with in planning our honeymoon! We gave her a couple of ideas and she sent many potential itineraries from Greece to Jamaica! We ultimately landed on Secrets St. James - Montego Bay in Jamaica. We had an incredible ocean view swim out room - which we have decided was the best room on the resort! We had butler service and access to other resorts on the property. Heidi helped us with flights (always ensuring we were seated together) and navigated us through the new COVID protocols and made sure we had everything we needed to get there & back smoothly. We had the best honeymoon we could ever ask for - Heidi made the planning process as simple and easy as it could possibly be for us - took all of the stress out of vacation planning! We LOVED our hotels in both Santorini and in Athens, and the excursions she recommended were also amazing! Loved that we were able to provide our budget and target dates, and Heidi made everything happen. Also loved the extra perks we received (such as a honeymoon cake & campaign, and fruit/wine from the hotels). We had one of the best weeks of our lives and are soooo thankful! The only change I would make is allowing plenty of time (3+ hours) for transfers between flights, when it involves international travel. With the extra COVID protocols, lines are long, and when transferring between airlines, it can take awhile for bag transfers, re-check-ins, security, etc. Thank youuu Heidi and Dream Vacation Hunters for an absolutely wonderful trip! Our honeymoon planning was made incredibly easy by Heidi. She sent multiple packages from multiple locations and was even so kind to tweak them as necessary for things like flight times, duration of stay, etc. She even included honeymoon packages for our stay that we would not have known about without her guidance. Incredible Hawaiian Cruise Mike, I just want to say thanks for planning our cruise around the Hawaiian Islands. Now this trip was one for the books, it was certainly a blast. Everyday was a new adventure at a different island. There was so much to do and it was nice to know that at each port our excursion was already taken care of. We would just get off the cruise shipped and we would experience a fun filled day of touring, trying new cuisine, shopping or one night we had a luau. Such a magical experience.
