Alaska Hi Jodi - I hope that you are having a great start to Fall! I wanted to send you quick note to, once again, thank you for all of your help in setting up the 50th Anniversary Alaska Trip for my parents. As you may recall, they returned a couple of weeks ago and had an outstanding trip! From the wildlife and glaciers to the first-class travel on trains, ships and planes - the entire trip was a wonderful experience. Alaska I’m starting to recover from jet lag after the red eye. The trip was AMAZING!!! It was the perfect trip to take for me - National Geographic worthy! And the food was seriously 5 star. I can’t imagine a better menu and service. I have intolerances to gluten, eggs and corn which can be a challenge to manage - the steward we had helped me sort out what I could eat - and remembered it - and the pastry chef made me a separate dessert (chocolate mousse) which was perfect. I also learned a lot about myself and cruising that I will carry forward to the next adventure. Thinking 2024 - to another polar/northern location. I would love to talk live about everything. will send a photo from my iPad.

Awesome Alaska Trip Hi Jodi, Just checking in with you to let you know what a fabulous trip we had. I am so glad we decided to do it. It was the best vacation we've had. (Better than Hawaii) Everything so beautiful and the air so fresh with no pollution. We brought and planned ahead for the rain but none was to be had. Every single day was sunny and 70's. Even when we got into Vancouver continued the same beautiful weather. In Alaska, we did the Yukon Pass train which was totally awesome. The next day we did Mendenhall glacier, the salmon hatchery and the salmon bake in the forest. The salmon was delicious. My husband went back 3 times. On the final day in Ketchikan we went to the Lumberjack show and took the duck boat around town and onto into the harbor. Did a lot of shopping also at this stop. So much fun. The Sheraton Wall Center in Vancouver was very nice with very nice people. Good place to stay within walking distance of restaurants and bus. Also, the Lakefront in Whittier was fun to watch the float planes come in. Not to say there were no glitches any where, We scheduled a tour on the Hop on Hop off bus in Vancouver at which time Princess Cruise took our luggage and said they would have it at the hotel between 4 and 8 pm that night. I went down to the bellhop at 930 and asked if they had seen our luggage. They checked the two rooms where is luggage is locked up and it was not to be found. They called to other hotels and it was locked up at another hotel and they did not bother to call even though our name and hotel name and address was on the label. It all worked out and I consider it all part of the adventure. I was very impressed with Princess Cruises and would not hesitate to book with them again. I liked the size of the ship, its cleanliness and the getting on and off the ship was so efficient. We saw killer whales, salmon, (no bear) and now I am ready to do an African safari vacation. LOL. The whole adventure was amazing and I want to truly and sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. Pam - Pamela W.
