This Viking Cruise was our first cruise of any type. Deborah has been by our side from the beginning, like 3 years ago, pre-Covid, beginning. She kept us in the loop with all the rescheduling that occurred due to uncontrollable Covid constraints. Our trip was wonderful! The cruise offered 5-star quality lunches and dinners. The programs and guides were very good. The cabin was as expected (small) and the decor was a little tired but we were very pleased. I’d rather have great food, wine, and guides than a fancy cabin or ship.
The first week on land was enjoyable too as we visited Barcelona, Madrid, and Toledo. En route to Seville, we stopped by Merida which has a number of Roman ruins.

A belated thanks to Deborah Shah for not only sourcing a fabulous business class fare for me during peak summer travel Europe on Air France-- which was to Milan, with a 3 night stop-over and return from Paris -- but also for her ability to quickly resolve a major airline error that could have resulted in thousands more to my trip. Less than 24-hours prior to my departure I was repeatedly denied check-in and when I called the airline, I was advised my return ticket had been entirely cancelled! I was trying to remain calm but panicking and reached Deborah on a Sunday morning, who assured me she had an email thread confirming that a change my itinerary made earlier would not affect the ticket in any way. She remained calm and connected to me in Paris with updates the entire day until she confirmed all was resolved! That level of access to a trusted travel advisor and excellent customer service trumps the great fare and I will continue to work with Deborah and her agency on my future trips. Deb did a FABULOUS job of planning our excursion to Costa Rica! Because I was traveling with my 15 year old son, I needed a good mix of family friendly resorts and adventures that would appeal to him.
