What a great cruise vacation. The Danube is wonderful, and Avalon Waterways was a perfect choice. Our travel arrangements were perfect—absolutely zero hitches. Even when water levels prevented our ship from making its first port, Avalon had the problem solved with a replacement ship in just the right place.
Great rooms, food, and a great staff on board. And, Avalon did a great job with shore excursions staffed by wonderful guides. This was easily the best cruise I’ve ever been on. Thanks Dee for your great work setting us up. We’ll definitely do this again.

Although we were a little disappointed with the trip due to the weather, which is hard to plan for, and we had rain and fog for most of the trip. However, the planning and purchase of the trip with Dee was flawless!! She was extremely helpful, nice, and very quick to get back to me with any questions I had. In the past I would just book things myself which takes a lot of time and work. It was genuinely nice to walk in and work with an expert who got us the best deal possible and any little bonuses that I wouldn’t have found with very little effort on our end. It is also nice to get those do’s and don’ts from someone that has experience in the cruise world that you don’t get when you try to book yourself. My girlfriend and I joined a private cruise with Cruise Planners LV with a country music trio. I was impressed with the many special touches David and Dee had with the group: They organized a gathering before the cruise so we can meet other travelers with the group; email information to keep us updated on Covid testing; directions and parking at the terminal; took care of upgrading internet service on the ship if interested; and schedule changes during the cruise were sent to our stateroom phone. Purchased cruise through Cruise planners with Dee Barker, She was excellent with helping us with all our excursions and cabin choice, even got us an upgrade. Cruise was awesome, food excellent enjoyed the anytime dinning times and the buffet Horizon Grill was excellent. Plenty of great entertainment to keep you busy during our days at sea. Plenty of wildlife especially coming out of Victoria a pod of Orca,s put on a great show . Tracy Arm was spectacular. Thanks again Cruise Planners will definitely use them for my next cruise

David is a lifesaver!! He coordinated a Mediterranean cruise for us to celebrate my daughter's 40th birthday. As we told more people about our plans, our group grew from 3 to 5 to 7.
