Our Alaskan cruise on Seabourn Quest was one of the more memorable cruises we have been on. First of all, Seabourn was Seabourn. Always a wonderful time. But, the Venture crew members really made the difference. There were 12 members who were the Zodiac drivers and Kayak guides. They were all experts on various subjects relating to natural history, glaciers, animal life, sea life and birds. There talks on all of these were very interesting and entertaining.
I believe Alaska is one of the most beautiful places on the planet and this cruise highlighted it by is itinerary which included Zodiac trips into the remote Fjords .

First, the resort was immaculate. Not a piece of trash anywhere. I've never seen anything like it. Never an overflowing trash can, more than enough staff around the resort, not a leaf or piece of trash on their personal beach. On the beach, there were just a handful of vendors allowed to walk through and they were respectful and not pushy in the least. Security guards were everywhere so we felt very safe. We couldn't get over how good the food was. It was a Dreams resort and they had similar restaurants as what we had at the Dreams in Costa Rica, but the food quality was just so much better. I don't think any of us ordered anything we didn't absolutely love. It's apparent the Dominicans are good cooks!

When we checked in, we were told we were "preferred" guests and we thought they probably said that to every guest, but it turns out that certain restaurants are only for preferred guests, and we received discounts on purchases in shops and things like that. One night, we went to our favorite restaurant only to be told that our dinner would be in an open air area, just because we were preferred guests. It was a neat outdoor grill type of setup with amazing food, and only about sixty people were allowed there. Kind of cool!
The water parks were a huge bonus, and again, there were staff members all over the place (lifeguards) so we felt like we were in good hands.- Laura V.

In October of 2024. My husband, along with eight of our close friends, embarked on a 14-day Mediterranean Cruise. This was our first cruise, and we were not certain what to expect. Carol planned everything from transportation, securing accommodations in hotels and on the Cruise. The experience was amazing, and we are very grateful. She also suggested the trip insurance which covered trip interruption as well as medical coverage if needed. Thank goodness we purchased the policy. Who knew we would need the insurance. After the Cruise, we flew to Rome for a week and took a one-day side trip to Florence. Florence was very crowded and although I am not certain how this happened but while walking on the sidewalk in Florence, I fell into a very busy street. The next thing I knew, I was in an ambulance being rushed to the hospital. I found myself in a terrifying situation. The hospital emergency room was very busy, and I soon realized that very few of the staff spoke English. After a few hours of waiting in excruciating pain, I was informed that I had fractured my pelvis. What? The prognosis was positive as the injury did not require surgery, but I needed to lie flat on my back for at least two weeks. We were scheduled to fly home in two days however, it would be without me. Carol contacted the insurance company who wanted to arrange a commercial flight would that accommodate my need to lay flat the entire time. After almost two weeks in the hospital, we learned that the insurance company was unable to find a commercial airline to transport me. Luckily, Carol was able to work directly with the insurance company to arrange an air ambulance to fly my husband and I home. I am now recovering at home.
I want to commend Carol for jumping in and taking the lead with this. I am not certain what we would have done if she had not gotten involved. Anything can happen when you travel, so you need an advocate who is knowledgeable and willing to partner with you in navigating to a solution. If you are planning a vacation, I highly recommend you work with Carol Tricoche. You will be so happy you did!- Stanley M.

This was our first experience in using both Cruise Planners and Susan Diaz, and what an incredible experience. We went to visit our son in the Dominican Republic and stayed at Casa de Campo, a fabulous resort that hit all the points we were looking for, and in addition Susan arranged the on-island travel with the same driver our entire trip which made that experience so much easier. Start to finish this was EPIC! November 2023, our first time back to Cancun, MX since our honeymoon & with our two young children. Best of all was my brother’s wedding and reunion with our dearest family and friends. Susan’s recommendation of the Dreams Sands was ideal for our group. At every turn we found ourselves eating, swimming, drinking, beach volleying or catching up with another wedding attendee. When Susan said it was the best beach in Cancun, boy did she mean it. i’m here before planning my wedding in Cancun I reached out to Susan Diaz, the travel advisor. The trip was fabulous. We had a great time. The truffle hunting excursion was wonderful and so unique. I've mentioned it to several people as a highlight. The hotels were all perfect. Now that my kids are back in school, I am taking a moment and reminiscing on my summer. First, it was a trip that I never thought feasible due to all the logistical details. Luckily, I had Susan there every step of the way from the very beginning. Six months of planning later, my kids and I embarked on a 24-day, cross continental, 16 state, 6 flight, multiple hotel and a 3,000 mile rental car, EPIC road trip! Susan listen to the specific details my bonus daughter gave her for our groups travel plans. She was spot on with the reservation process, and it was a breeze to make the reservations.

Susan Diaz literally made a lifelong dream come true! My mom's bucket list trip was to Switzerland to re-enact a scene from "The Sound of Music" - Julie Andrews singing in an alpine meadow with the majestic mountains behind her. Well, my mom said she would depend on friends to make recommendations. And we waited. And waited. Once my sister contacted Susan, the trip immediately took shape. Susan was organized and worked fast to get us dreaming and ultimately giving my mom the trip of a lifetime. She even made it financially feasible - by finding places to accommodate three people - that my mom could bring me and my sister along! Our trip to Cancun was perfect until our flight back. The plane was running an hour late from Mexico to Houston leading to missing our flight from Houston to Des Moines. We were also missing one of our bags. They put us on a flight to Denver that night with no hotel or baggage when we arrived. Our 1 bag was already put on the plane for the morning flight. We did find a hotel with travel both ways. We arrived in Des Moines early afternoon and waited an additional 2 hours for our missing bag to arrive. We reached out to Susan for help.

Perhaps it is tempting to book your own travel plans but there’s nothing like having a personal travel advisor like Susan. In these hectic times (ie, frequent flight cancellations) it gave me peace of mind to know Susan was only a text away to assist me. Granted the situation didn’t present itself but it was good to know Susan was on call. What Susan did for my husband and I was to plan a quick getaway to Cabo. She suggested Secrets which is an adult resort and it was amazing. Don’t get me wrong, love kids, but just not while on vacation. We get in on Friday night in time for a late dinner and dancing. I can't say enough about the ease and stress free experience from Susan, from our initial conversation to getting on our plane to head to our vacation. With Susan's knowledge of Mexico, itself and XCaret Resorts, she was able to share about all of the execusions and amenitites the resort had to offer. When we were trying to decide on the many options to do while on our vacation, Susan wanted to make sure we were well informed about what each execusion so she sent us videos, which allowed us to choose what we really wanted to do. She shared her experiences of those she had participation in herself and if she enjoyed them or did not. However all the time, she did not make us feel as if she was pushing us to choose the execursions she choose. Our trip was wonderful, if not a little different. The Covid bubble was a little overpowering, but we are all safe. We saw the Northern Lights in Narvik, Alta and Tromso. What we never knew was that to the naked eye the lights appear as dancing clouds with no color. The color only shows up when photographed. I was able to get some pictures with my i phone. Should have brought our big camera and tripod.
The weather turned bad after Tromso and we could not make it into Bodo or the Shetland Islands. We had about 8 hours of open seas with 70 MPH winds and 30 ft seas. What a ride!
All in all it was a very good trip and not as cold as I had anticipated. Viking service was up to its usual standards and the food was well paired with the region. The weather was good for the first week and the scenery was spectacular. But, I'm not ready to do it again.

I just wanted to say thank you for helping us create such a great trip to Portugal and Spain. We had a great time and everything turned out perfect. The hotels were all great, and perfectly located, all drivers and tour guides showed up as planned, and I must say that our driver in Barcelona was extra special! He picked us up at the airport and then was our driver the following day to Montserrat. At the end of the day I took out my phone to take a picture of something the guide was showing us, and moments later got out of the car without my phone! I immediately realized it, but he was gone. My daughter sent a Whats App message, and they did respond, and sent the drivers phone number. He had already returned the car to the office but said he'd check in the morning and call her back around 8:30. However, he did one better, showing up at the hotel/apt. at 7:00 a.m., with my phone in hand. He was then our driver back to the airport the following day, and I couldn't have been more appreciative of his goodwill!
Again, we really appreciate all you did to help make this trip easy and most enjoyable, and most importantly, a great memory for us all!

The trip was awesome and everything went better than expected. Delta was a great choice. The Hyatt Place was very nice, our accommodations were perfect and the staff was great. They upgraded us to an ocean view room which was nice. The complimentary breakfast was very good with plenty of choices for everyone. The gift shops were reasonably priced compared to the shopping areas near the hotel. The limousine service to the Arizona was nice, they picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel, everything went as planned. Kualoa Ranch was amazing, the Zip Lin was Fun and the Jungle trip was fun as well.

Thank you so much for planning such an amazing trip for us. It was truly magical. I just wanted to give you a run down of how everything went in a bit more detail.
The personal drivers were worth every penny for us! It was so nice not having to worry about where to go once we got to the airport or the train station. It made everything easy. The weather forecast for London showed rain for the entire week we were there, but thankfully it only rained the first day. The Grosvenor hotel was beautiful. It was a bit confusing navigating the hotel- we were on floor 3, but we had to take the lift to floor 4 and walk downstairs to floor 3 (even though the lift had an exit for floor 3). It was a bit odd, but we didn't mind once we figured it out. We ate the continental breakfast every morning, which was very good! They had many options to choose from and they didn't just serve carbs, they had choices of protein as well :) Once we settled in to our hotel room, we went to pick up our London passes right away. We decided to walk (in the rain) and we were able to see Buckingham Palace on the way, which was magnificent. We made our way to Trafalgar Square, where our passes were. The place was very was to find. We ate lunch and saw a few more sites. Once we were done for the day, we went back to the hotel where I worked on figuring out how to use the Tube. There is an app you can download on your phone that helps navigate the tube and what stops to get off and change at. It was extremely helpful. The travel card was worth every penny- we used the tube to go EVERYWHERE. It was really easy once we got the hang of it.
London was so wonderful. I wish we could have stayed a few extra days. The best part was the small group tour to Stonehenge, Bath, and Windsor. Our tour guide, Tony, was the absolute best! He was funny and he knew a lot about the history of each of the monuments. We really liked him. I can't wait to go back to London. We saved our London pass so we could go inside Windsor and we are happy we did.
The private tour to Normandy was unforgettable. All three of use felt that this tour was the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide was really good ( I can't remember his name-it was a very "French" name). We went to the Mont Sainte Michel first, which our tour guide suggested because he said it would be very busy the next day. I'm so glad we took his advice because it was not very busy when we went. Evan really liked the monastery. After that, our tour guide took us to a yummy cafe for lunch right on Utah beach. The weather cleared and it was a BEAUTIFUL day. I wanted to sunbathe on the beach all day. I still can't get over how beautiful everything was in Normandy. We made our way to the hotel. The hotel you booked for us was stunning to say the least. We all wanted to stay there another night. We got up early the next day and went to Omaha beach and the rest of the DDay beaches. The memorials were very moving and our tour guide knew a lot of the history was able to point things out in the memorials to show us. He was really good.
Paris was also wonderful. We picked up our Paris passes when we got back from Normandy. The place had moved so the address you gave us is not the current address. Thankfully the guy at the store next to it spoke very good English and he told us where to go. The new address is in a MUCH nicer area and it is more touristy (in a good way). We did have to wait in line to pick it up, we should have gotten there much earlier had we known. Also, the Paris pass does NOT include the Eiffel Tower. The first day, we took the red bus around the city because we were so tired from Normandy. The breeze was nice because it was very hot the last 2 days we were in Paris. What I didn't know is that the Paris pass includes transportation, like the London Pass. Maybe you told me, but I didn't remember. We used the metro several times. I know you have seen the pictures I posted on Facebook, so I won't go into all the sites we saw. Everything was amazing. Paris has changed so much since the last time I went 13 years ago.
Overall, this vacation was the most memorable. Thank you so much for planning out everything. We got to relax knowing that we didn't have to worry about anything. This vacation was beyond any expectation I had! THANK YOU!!

I have known Carol for several years, but only recently had need of her professional services. I gave her my destination, roughly how long I could stay there, and the dates that I HAD to be there. I gave that to her late in the evening, and by quite early the next morning she was back to me with my options. I have never had such an easy, effortless time researching and booking a flight!! Adios Peru! It was AWESOME! My dream vacation full of history, activity, culture and fun has been realized! Things to note... the quintessential photo of the mountain you think is Machu Picchu actually is Waynu Picchu, which we fortunately were able to hike. Only 400 people per day are allowed on the hike, so book early; you don't want to miss it!! Oh, and jump photos are not allowed anywhere on the mountain. Oops! Carol, we CANNOT believe how amazing this place is. I have NEVER in my life been at a loss for words and I am tonight. It is actually indescribable. The villa/bungalow is by far the nicest room I've ever stayed in and the view we have is out of this world, surreal. We will send pictures, but I had to tell you that this place is 100 times better than their website shows. I was happy and content with Moorea, but this is something on a whole other level! Thanks for hooking this up! It is beyond fantastic!!!
