My husband and I decided to do a cruise with my son's mom and dad in-law and this was his father-in-law's first cruise. Let's call him RB. RB doesn't fly so Miami/Ft.Lauderdale were out of the question as home ports. He is also a very high energy/active person and needs LOTS to keep him occupied. We wanted to keep it nice, but needed to leave out of NY, which limits options quite a bit. They are also huge music lovers so the evening entertainment was important to us. I called Janet with all of these criteria and she came up with the perfect cruise...no flying required! We left out of NY so we took a short cab ride to the pier in Manhattan and were on the ship and having fun in no time. The ship was big and beautiful with activities at every turn. Janet noted that they had some nice music venues and sure enough, we found a jazz club and were there every night after dinner. Our excursions were very nice and those of us who wanted to relax in the water could and those of us who wanted to do water sports did...and RB DID! Now this is where Janet excelled at customer service...I happened to be on another trip at the time the site opened to book our restaurant, shore excursions and evening show reservations so I was worried we would get locked out of our choices by the time I got back. Janet said "no worries...I'll do the reservations for you!" And she did, and we got everything we asked for and we had a fabulous family cruise. Needless to say RB is now hooked on cruises and is looking forward to using Janet for his next one.- Dale K.
Planning for the trip of a lifetime is never easy and always daunting but Janet took all the stress and worry away by helping us plan the most perfect vacation I have had to date. She made it so easy on us by first asking what our budget was so she didn't waste time researching trips that were outside of that budget. Then she did alllllll the research and gave us several options, within our budget, to choose from and then helped us personalize the one we chose. This was NOT a cookie cutter itinerary. Her patience was something to be commend because we had tons of questions and all were answered concisely and timely. Knowing that we had her in the U.S. as a contact was very comforting and we knew we could call her DIRECTLY if anything went wrong...which it didn't. :-) Our time was spent relaxing and being with nature and enjoying the culture and we could only do that knowing we had a reputable agent behind us. We've booked (3) cruises, island trips and our kids have booked trips with Janet, including our son's honeymoon 2 years ago in St. Lucia. They loved all of Janet's recommendations so much, my wife and I booked Sandals La Toc this past month. It's a beautiful resort, of which you have access to two other resorts on the island.
