Trip was great. We had great weather which can be tough to come by in Alaska. The food on NCL is good and you can eat all the time. Our group of eight usually went to the Garden Cafe which is buffet and everybody could get what they wanted. We did the hibachi grill one night and that was absolutely fantastic - both the food and the entertainment. When we took the whale watching & Mendenhall Glacier tour out of Juneau there was only 14 on the boat and the captain quickly found humpback whales including one right in the harbor. We also observed a large group of sea lions enroute to more whales. We had our two grand daughters, 8&9, with us and the guide, Ian, interacted with them very well even giving photo tips. He was also very knowledgeable about the plant and animal life as we hiked to the Mendenhall Glacier. When you go to Skagway you must take the White Pass railroad tour. This history was extremely interesting and views absolutely spectacular. When we got to Victoria we went on an Orca tour and, although the boat ride took a while to get there, the views of the Orca pod were spectacular! This is our fifth cruise and although we cruised Alaska about 20 years ago the beauty and vastness are unbelievable - it can be hard to take it all in. We could easily go again in a couple of years. Lori did a great job putting everything together and fixing the issues that came up along the way.

Lori Hollomon is the best! My husband and I decided to travel to Ireland last minute and I was at a loss how to plan a week's vacation. So, I called Lori. Best decision ever! She listened patiently while I told her what we wanted to see. She lined up the hotels, car, plane and itinerary. She tweaked it where necessary until I was happy.
