Oceania Riviara ship gorgeous; service terrific; food great; entertainment great - inky disappointment was that the ports of call were a long distance from where the ship docked, so unless you signed up for a very pricey tour you didn’t really get to experience the City or Port if call. Given the cost of the cruise, we took 2 tours with our $600 credit - one if a winery was not good, but the one if the olive oil property & 200 yr old olive trees was very good. We had spent time in Rome, so the fact that the ship docked some 50 miles away was ok -we did not go in to Rome.

Just wanted to thank you for setting up a very nice trip for us at the RIO Caribe. Everything went well. The flight was on time with American Airlines, and the Amstar people were right there at the Cancun airport directing us to their very nice air-conditioned busses for the trip to the resort. Check in at the resort couldn’t have been any smoother and we had a very nice room. We had a lot of fun with the beach party and the pool parties with the balloons and the foam. If I could give 100 stars I would! I found Margaret and her husband simply from googling one day and decided to give them a call. I don’t travel frequently and was trying to book our honeymoon. Margaret made the process so simple and easy and took care of everything we needed. We had booked about 6 months in advance and had communication throughout the whole process. Anytime I had a question, Margaret would respond within minutes. On our way home, we missed our connecting flight due to a fuel shortage. We liked being close to the elevators and near the top of the ship was great because we could avoid the elevator for things like the pool, kids club, buffet, and sports related activities. Gerry and Margaret are great to work with! They helped my wife and I plan two cruises on two different cruise lines (Royal and MSC). Planning for a family trip with those who are new to cruising and have different levels of digital savvy is challenging but Gerry/Margaret were there every step of the way. So what makes these two worthy of the 5-stars? Personal service and attention! My wife and I were able to visit Gerry and Margaret in person to go over what we were looking for and what we'd be interested in for future trips. They were also extremely attentive via email, text, and phone. Trying to cruise during this past year was very difficult with the changing protocols to book, board, and sail and Gerry was always there to patiently answer our questions. When the cruise line changed testing protocol 48-hours before embarkation, I could not reach a single real person from the cruise line but Gerry was on the phone with me at all hours of the day to get what we needed to board. We recommended Gerry and Margaret to our friends and family who have all been equally impressed with the service provided. My dad is neither a seasoned cruiser nor a big spender so if you are worried about this being a first cruise or traveling on a budget, there is no need to worry as they will walk you through all the necessary steps. Last thing, small things make a big difference. Having your travel agent be willing to help with setting up emergency copies of documents and providing you with luggage tags isn't necessary but, it really is nice.

My girlfriend and I had a bucket list vacation to the Antarctic and we were looking a few options to plan our trip including doing it our selves. As we worked our way through our options, we contacted Cruise Planners and we were blown away by the knowledge and experience we received from Gerry and Margret. They started off by asking us questions about what we wanted to do, what experiences we were looking for, our budget, and timelines. It was a fresh breath of air to have someone care about our trip as much as we did. After our consultation, they crafted an amazing trip to Buenos Aires, Ushuaia and Antarctica on Quark Expedition Cruises. Our trip included flights, hotels, pick ups and drop offs. The companies they contracted were friendly, prompt and fun. The hotels were top notch and located in the hearts of the areas we visited.
Our time in Buenos Aires was fabulous due to our pick up coordinator and her suggestions of places to eat and things to see. (They were exactly what we had discovered during our research) We ate our way through the city and went on several tours including the grave site of Evita!
Ushuaia was a quaint shipping town at the end of the earth. We explored Patagonia, hiked and shopped before jumping on our Antarctic cruise with Quark.
Quark was the most amazing of it all. I can't say enough about the experience of a lifetime. We chose them for their smaller ship and daily excursions to interact with the environment and they did not disappoint. From the food, staff, rooms, excursions, professionalism and fun, they had it all. From the time you woke up in the morning till you put your head down every night there were activities, education, exploration and eating (top notch food!!) Our favorite activities were going out twice a day on the zodiac boats and taking a cruise to see animal life and beautiful ice structures. It was amazing!!
On our way back we had some issues with Delta and flight cancellations. Gerry was immediate with help and responses as well as helping us make a claim with our trip insurance. Thanks for the suggestion on the insurance!

Trip was great. My parents loved the cruise. Grand Turk was beautiful and the kids' programs were great. Lots to keep the kids busy and happy. Margaret Waller helped make our honeymoon an absolute dream-come-true. She helped us feel comfortable about our ideas and our budget and then used her expertise and connections with various travel sources to plan and book our entire honeymoon from start to finish.
