Testimonials

Clark and his team have once again turned a complicated itinerary into simplicity helping us custom design a bucket list safari combo to four countries. It’s especially comforting to know someone else is handling any issues on the other side of the world - like when a connecting flight airline goes on strike. From visas to inoculations, packing suggestions to routings, Clark cheerfully answered questions and clarified details for a couple of minutes n the before our departure Thank you Clark for exemplary service and always being there before, during and after the trip - Sue H.
This was hands down the easiest trip I have ever taken with the amazing support from Cruise Planners. I want to thank Liz and her whole team for helping me plan my stunning European trip this year! She always gave great support before, during and after the trip as well!. If anything came up she would notified me immediately if plans changed! I can not say enough how amazing this travel company is! They are the best!

Thank you so much for pulling off the impossible! You managed to coordinate 30 people from across the country flying into Costa Rica for my week long birth day celebration. The entire process was smooth and stress free and I could NOT have done it without you. The entire group agreed that is was the best vacation we ever had. The champagne toast and birthday celebration surprise upon arrival was the cherry on top! You are really the best in the biz! Thank you!
First, let me say that booking thru Cruise Planners is the way to go! No, they do not charge more than Royal Caribbean to do all the work. A month ago, I was unable to fix a cruise planning problem with Royal so called Clark Daugherty from Cruise Planners, he immediately got it fixed. Now that’s service! Now on to my opinion about the new program Royal has started called the “key.” The key is intended to add that extra something special to your cruise. If you book a suite then you already have that something special but if you are booked in an inside room then having the key would make you feel more like a “suite” person. We paid $19.99 per day per person. If one person wants the key in a room then, it’s like the drink package, everyone over the age of six has to purchase it. I’ve already seen the key offered on other ships all the way up to just over thirty dollars per person. It’s capped out at a certain number....thinking around 200...eventually. So, if you are still on the fence about booking it go ahead and book then cancel later if you want. Book at the high price then watch everyday for a discount on it...then cancel and rebook. The “key” is not for suite people or bigger families. Cost effectiveness for families is just not there. But then again, maybe it would be for you. Here’s what my daughter and I got out of it: At the port we went thru security (key does not help out there) then found our third floor check-in....where due to having the key we went to the front of the line (nice). Boarding had started so we did not have to wait in the key special area. We dropped our luggage in the theater (it’s delivered to inside your room around 1pm) then headed to Chops Steak House for lunch. Chops is opened to everyone on the ship for lunch that day but they had a special area for the key. Once that filled up the key had to go to the Italian restaurant. We had a wonderful lunch and was able to avoid the craziness of the Windjammer. A nice way to start our vacation. At check-in we were given a code for our internet. Internet worked the whole trip though sometimes could be a bit slow. One of the nice benefits (to me) about having the key is reserved seats for shows, though you still have to make your reservations at least three days out before cruise take off. Ice show we were second row middle. I’ve seen this show before but from the sides, seeing it from the middle was like a whole new show. We decided to try and get in the water show earlier than what we had booked and I was surprised we were immediately escorted to our key seats. The key gives you special times to do zip line, rock climbing, and the flow rider. We arrived at the zip line to find we were the only ones there. We could of gone over and over again. The same with the flow rider which can have really long lines for non key people. A big benefit to having the key is the last morning. We had a really good (I had steak and eggs) breakfast in the peaceful chops. We were then escorted thru a special door behind guest services where we were scanned off the ship. We walked with the crowd to baggage (we had only carry on’s) and told a worker we were part of the key. She immediately took us to the head of the Custom line. It was one fast getting off the ship! I would recommend the key to people that want that extra “wow” factor. My daughter and I have decided we would not book a cruise without it. But if I had to pay for a family of five I think it would not be worth the cost. Either way life is short book a cruise!
We booked our Southern Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean with Clark Daugherty. He made it so easy and hassle free. We are repeat customers with Cruise Planners and are never disappointed!
We used this service for our Destination wedding and it was great. I encourage you to reach out to Clark Daugherty and use it!!!
