Wild for the Nile: Cruise Planners Elite Summit Sails Through Egypt
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — [July 10, 2026] — Cruise Planners recently honored its top-performing advisors with its annual Elite Summit in Egypt, for a journey along the Nile designed to celebrate advisor success, learn firsthand product knowledge, and build stronger connections with valued travel partners.
The summit brought advisors together with Cruise Planners leadership and participating sponsors, including Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Scenic Group, Emerald Cruises & Tours, Carnival, Allianz and Celebrity Cruises. Through one-on-one appointments, daily cultural excursions, and onboard activities that bring “The Gift of The Nile” to the deck, advisors deepened their relationships with the region and Cruise Planners’ partners while gaining insight they can use to grow their river cruising, expedition cruising and experiential travel business.
Set against the desert heat, the sinuous Nile and temples that have stood for millennia, the summit captured the slower, more atmospheric side of traveling by river, from a felucca ride around Elephantine Island to a Galabeya celebration and traditional folkloric entertainment on board.
Dedicated one-on-one sponsor appointments, peer-to-peer networking and shared time with Cruise Planners leadership and partner brands added another layer to the experience, giving attendees both firsthand insight and industry connections to grow future river and expedition travel business.

The agents visited the country’s most iconic experiences, from the treasures of Tutankhamun and the Grand Egyptian Museum to the Pyramids of Giza, the Valley of the Kings, and the ancient temple cities that line the Nile. The journey began in Cairo, where advisors visited the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to more than 100,000 artifacts, including the priceless treasures of Tutankhamun. From the agents traveled to the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, Memphis, Saqqara and the Giza complex, with lunch at the historic Mena House in the shadow of the pyramids.
The experience moved deeper into Egypt’s ancient world, as the advisors explored the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Kings to see the tomb of King Tutankhamun and have rare access to Seti I’s Tomb, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. They continued aboard the AmaLilia to Edfu’s Temple of Horus, Aswan’s Philae Temple complex, a Nubian village on Hisa Island, the dual temple of Kom Ombo, and Dendara’s Temple of Hathor.
