Cruise Planners®, an American Express Travel Representative, recently hosted its inaugural Land Symposium at the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. Announced at the event was Cruise Planners’ tremendous growth in land travel purchases, up 76 percent for 2018 over 2017. The company organized the Land Symposium for 125 agents who received an in-depth education on global destinations, escorted tours and all-inclusive resort vacations.
Highlights of Cruise Planners Land Symposium included:
“I chose to join the Cruise Planners executive team because I believe in the way this network supports franchise owners and exposes them to the targeted training they need to grow their sales in all aspects of travel,” said Scott Koepf, VP of Strategic Development. “This Land Symposium reinforced our agents’ status as ‘land and cruise experts’ and whether they had years of success in this arena or are just getting started, they left Mexico with tangible takeaways.”
In addition to a strong relationship with the host resort company, Playa Hotels and Resorts, Cruise Planners, is also the No. 1 top producing host agency for Sandals and Beaches Resorts. The Cruise Planners Network continues to be a force in all types of travel and understands that advisors’ firsthand experience of a product or destination is key for growing business. With more than 20 percent of the agents in attendance never having experienced an all-inclusive vacation, this training proved vital for continuing their education and growing their knowledge in all aspects of travel.
Cruise Planners’ agent, Stacy Walker based in Frisco, TX, added “We loved being able to experience a land venue while talking about furthering our land business. There is nothing better than experiencing the hotel and staff for yourself, so you can pass it along to your clients.”
