Cruise Planners Hosts 3 Intensive Travel Agent Boot Camps

Cruise Planners, the nation’s largest home-based travel agent franchise network in the industry, announced three separate Boot Camps to service Cruise Planners travel agents across the U.S. The Boot Camps will be hosted in Las Vegas; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Atlantic City, N.J. This is all part of the brand’s award-winning and ongoing training program to keep Cruise Planners agents at the top of their game.

“Cruise Planners specializes in educating travel agents in many areas and by training them personally in their backyard, we are able to positively impact change,” said Michelle Fee, CEO and co-founder of Cruise Planners, an American Express Travel Representative. “Our executive team is personally engaged and we take a hands-on approach to training. We know our agents who are most engaged are able to take their business to the next level and boost sales, so we want to help them throughout that process using our in-person and in-depth training.”

The Boot Camps are unique since they create face-to-face opportunities with Cruise Planners Home Office Team members and are an opportunity for franchise owners and associates to leave with take-away tips on growing their travel agent businesses. This year, Cruise Planners will focus on agent-requested topics such as sales training, public speaking, agent success stories, and true hands-on technology workshops with exercises and creating results-oriented action items.

Travel agents will be able to:

  • Learn directly from Cruise Planners’ top executives and company owners
  • Train on Cruise Planners’ proprietary technology through hands-on workshops
  • Engage with key partners through presentations and interactive, one-on-one networking events
  • Absorb tips and best practices from Cruise Planners’ top producers about how to run successful travel franchises

Through Boot Camps, Cruise Planners franchisees are able to interact with top representatives from major travel-industry brands and destination partners such as Norwegian Cruise Line, Travel Alberta, Visit Anchorage, Funjet Vacations, Air New Zealand Vacations and have time with each at a trade show featuring 50 preferred partners.

“Our goal is to ensure each travel agent can enhance their ability to sell new products, upsell or add value to existing packages and earn more commissions along the way by connecting with our agent network,” Fee said. “We are known for having fun while learning, so we look forward to spreading our positive Cruisitude® as we travel to agents around the nation.”

In addition to these Boot Camps, Cruise Planners hosts multiple six-day new franchisee training classes hosted in Fort Lauderdale throughout the year as well as offers hundreds of weekly webinars, a robust online training program, FAM trips, and a Business Development Team of coaches to help agents every step of the way.
