Cruise Planners Hosts 2018 Elite Summit with Two Trips to Celebrate Agent Success

Recently, the nation’s largest network of home-based travel agents traveled with Cruise Planners owners Michelle Fee and Vicky Garcia to UNICO 20°87° in Mexico. During the invitation-only trip of top agents, the group enjoyed the luxurious all-inclusive resort, dined with top industry partners and explored Mexico.

The Elite Summit, formally known as the Top Producers’ Trip, was recently expanded so more top-producing Cruise Planners agents can be recognized for peak performance and spend quality time with executives. The trip is typically designed with once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences with Cruise Planners signature Cruisitude™, making each one desirable for Cruise Planners’ most elite travel agents.

“Our best agents took time to enjoy traveling in style while immersing themselves in Mexico’s local culture,” said Michelle Fee, CEO and Founder of Cruise Planners, an American Express Travel Representative. “During the Elite Summit, agents use social media to engage their potential clients which helps generates sales, so we know traveling helps build business.”

“As we grow, we knew it only made sense for us to expand this program. It allows us to get valuable one-on-one time with each agent as we create friendships and travel memories. As a result of all the support we give our agents, they are seeing increased sales and we want to celebrate their success,” Fee said. “I always look forward to connecting personally with the agents and cultivating lasting relationships.”

While traveling, Cruise Planners agents get exclusive one-on-one time with top-ranked preferred travel partners, which allow for more quality social time and bonding with agents. The travel partners included Tara Schreiner Forster from Holland America Line, Gina Garrett Mancuso from Norwegian Cruise Line, Wendy Whitener from Carnival Cruise Line, Joe Eastep from Oceania Cruises, Jeff Verlotta from Classic Vacations, Michael Weldon from Viking River Cruises and Jacqueline Marks from The Mark Travel Corporation. Earlier this year, Cruise Planners also hosted another bucket-list style trip to Machu Picchu.
