Cruise Planners Celebrates fourth anniversary of “Cruise Planners Day” on January 29th

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Jan. 29, 2023-- In 2019, the Broward County Commission designated January 29th as “Cruise Planners Day” as a recognition for the respected travel company’s positive impact on South Florida tourism, as well as in the travel industry. Four years later, Cruise Planners continues to celebrate this special day by thanking their 2500+ strong network of advisors as well as their Home Office Team for their hard work and dedication.

“It’s a great day to show our CRUISITUDE and reflect on how far we’ve come and what’s ahead,” said Michelle Fee, CEO and founder of Cruise Planners. “For nearly 30 years, we have been a big part of bringing thousands of vacations and memories to life and we are so grateful to recognize this day officially as Cruise Planners Day.”

Cruise Planners’ community impact in Broward County continues far beyond just the location of its headquarters and includes: 

  • Economic Impact: Cruise Planners’ economic impact on Broward County includes ongoing travel advisor training sessions held in Fort Lauderdale throughout the year, as well as the company’s annual convention, slated for Nov. 28-Dec.1 at the Broward County Convention Center.
  • Cruising Growth: Cruise Planners has positively contributed to Broward County and Greater Fort Lauderdale’s tourism engine helping bring in the more than four million cruisers sailing from Port Everglades each year.
  • Diversity Advocate: Cruise Planners is a member of the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association and the company’s executives sit on many cruise line and travel advisory boards and are strong supporters of the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau’s initiatives. 
  • Philanthropic Involvement: Through its CP Cares charitable giving program, Cruise Planners champions local causes including Miami Fisher House, SOS Children’s Village and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Broward/Fort Lauderdale, helping to raise more than $2 Million for the local community.
