Cancun, Mexico – October 4, 2021 – The third day of Cruise Planners Convention was jam-packed with leaders from their Home Office Team diving into many of the key announcements, tools and technology revealed earlier in the week.
“If there’s anything we’ve learned in the last 18 months, it’s that travel advisors must be able to inform, support and communicate to their customers in a timely manner. Having cutting-edge technology tools will allow them to work more efficiently and never miss a step,” said Michelle Fee, CEO and Founder.

The day kicked off with “CP Tech’s Excellent Adventure” hosted by Brian Shultz, CIO and Scott Koepf, SVP of Strategic Planning who talked about the enhancements to the Sales Opportunities tool within CP Maxx, Cruise Planners’ propriety CRM and booking tool. The Sales Opportunity tool allows advisors to create a sales opportunity for each lead they receive and then tracks the sales stage for those leads allowing for responsive follow-up actions by the advisor. These powerful new enhancements also include integration with the recently launched “CP Task Manager” making it even easier for travel advisors to stay on top of all the tasks necessary in any stage of the sales and booking process.

Digital Marketing Enhancements
Social media has been an impactful tool for travel advisors for more than a decade, but this week, Cruise Planners rolled out a new tier for its social media program, CP Social, giving advisors daily automated posting to Facebook and Instagram, the power to create and deploy Facebook and Instagram ads, manage their directory listings and their reputation through reviews and responses. A Social media expert joined Theresa Scalzitti, CSO on the Cruise Planners stage to discuss why social media footprints are critical to your marketing strategy in today’s world. They both showcased this new level of the CP Social program and how all their digital and online presence can be managed analyzed through one easy-to-use dashboard. As part of the new tier, Cruise Planners will also produce and launch monthly localized Facebook and Instagram ads for their advisors. Another automated marketing program, among many, offered by Cruise Planners.
