Worldwide Pride Parades Celebrate Diversity & Inclusion for All

June is Pride Month and all month long there are annual parades that occur worldwide to support and celebrate the LGBT community. Take a look at some of the largest LGBT Pride celebrations – you won’t want to miss out on all the excitement filled with floats, performers and more!

New York City Pride

The New York City Pride Parade was the first of its kind that began in 1970. New York City Pride is currently the biggest Pride celebration in the world and has become an iconic piece of LGBT history. New York City Pride has something for everyone to enjoy including the famous Pride Rally, pride brunch, performances and so much more!

London Pride

The Pride in London Festival is two weeks full of events, starting at the end of June and finishing at the beginning of July, ranging from sports, discussions and self-defense classes to live music, culminating with the highly anticipated Pride parade. The Pride in London Festival is growing in popularity each year, with more than a million attendees joining the celebrations last year.

San Francisco Pride

San Francisco Pride is a 2-day weekend event in June, held every year since 1972 with the mission to “educate the world, commemorate our heritage, celebrate our culture and liberate our people.” Today, more than a million members and supporters of the LGBT community attend San Francisco’s pride events filled with speakers and performers at the Civic Center Plaza closing with the main event – the pride parade.

Toronto Pride

Toronto Pride Festival celebrates LGBT pride the entire month of June up until the parade at the end of the month. A wide range of events are offered including karaoke, pool and beach parties, movie screenings, live music, street fairs and more. There is also a Family Pride with fun crafts and events for the whole family to enjoy while celebrating diversity. Toronto Pride promises “unforgettable performances, floats, marchers and all the glitter you can handle!”
