Oceania’s top global producer and one of Cruise Planners’ top producing advisors, Adam Martindale’s journey from hotel management in the UK has been an adventure. From the hustle of the hotel industry to the high seas of cruise ships, and finally, establishing his own successful travel business as a Cruise Planners franchisee, Martindale’s story is an inspiring tale of passion, determination, and strategic career choices.

Joining a cruise line at the age of 19, Martindale swiftly climbed the ranks to become a Food and Beverage Director at just 23, overseeing significant ship launches and gaining invaluable leadership experience. Transitioning to the hotel side of the industry, he played a crucial role in spearheading renovation projects before embarking on a new chapter offering opportunities to navigate diverse challenges, from setting up ships in Germany to managing operations in Hawaii.

In 2009, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, he acquired a Cruise Planners franchise, marking the beginning of his exciting world of business ownership.  Martindale’s unwavering dedication and passion for luxury cruise travel propelled him forward.

Returning to the maritime industry, Martindale managed operations for several luxury cruise lines, refining his expertise in cruise operations and management. Subsequently, he shifted focus entirely to his travel business, specializing in crafting tailored food and wine experiences. Later, Martindale expanded his offerings to include escorting wine groups, cementing his reputation as a leader in luxury travel through partnerships with esteemed clients like the San Francisco Wine School.
