CP Goes Greener

With green as its signature color, it’s no surprise that Cruise Planners is committed to green initiatives. In 2019, Cruise Planners is taking on the #CPGreenChallenge to take our signature CP Green one step further.

Reducing Our Footprint:

In the new Cruise Planners Home Office, new practices are being put in place to ensure the Home Office Team and our guests reduce their waste. CP-issued reusable water bottles, coffee mugs and silverware were distributed to team members to cut down on plastic and styrofoam waste and recycled paper products being used throughout the office.

Cruise Planners travel partner Trafalgar generously sponsored a filtered water dispenser for team members to fill up their water bottles throughout the day.

Committed to Our Community:

Cruise Planners Home Office Team members and their families joined together for a 4Ocean beach cleanup at Spanish River Park in Boca Raton, FL, along with several hundred community members.

On what appeared to be a seemingly clean beach, the Home Office volunteers uncovered a vast number of small pieces of broken-down plastic, Styrofoam, rubber pieces, and other non-biodegradable materials. After the 3-hour cleanup, the 4ocean volunteers sorted and counted the trash, totaling 600 plastic bags and 300 plastic utensils, proving that together, we can make a big impact on combatting litter and plastic pollution.

Cruise Planners looks forward to continuing to make the South Florida area and the planet a more plastic-free place to live, work and vacation. To help reduce your footprint, check out 4ocean’s guide to recycling plastic.
