Africa Trip In the Manyara National Park was all about elephants. We saw several, some very close, along with monkeys, baboons, impalas, giraffes, and warthogs. Today in the crater we saw a lot of lions, again some extremely close, along with an astounding assortment and number of wildebeasts, African buffalo, gazelles, zebras, ostriches, warthogs, hippos, more elephants, and even a black rhino and a couple of hyenas. We really couldn't have hoped for more. Joseph had told us we are almost guaranteed to see leopards on the Serengeti, so we will have already completed the Big Five, plus so, so much more. Thank you again to you and your team for helping make this longtime dream of ours a wonderful reality.

As far as Bridget and planning, FIVE STAR! She was awesome and answered all our questions. She was extremely helpful. As far as NCL, there were a few little items. The biggest, when we prepaid our gratuities, it was for morning and evening service. After we prepaid our tips, evening service was discontinued. It was impossible to find a deck chair on sea days, people go out and save seats very early in the morning, nothing was done after talking to guest services. Over all it was a good cruise and we would do another, just can't give it five stars.

Our cruise with Star Clippers didn’t disappoint. We like the small size, incredibly friendly staff and meeting passengers from all over the world. The excursions were well planned with great local guides.

I worked with Sue Pierce to put together a driving trip through the French countryside...something I could never have done by myself. Thank you for the Cruise Thank you for all you did to ensure our family cruise was perfect. The "Getaway", from the Norwegian Cruise Line, was a fairly new ship, (2 years), very clean and well maintained. We all agreed that everybody that we came in contact with was sporting a smile and happy to assist us in anyway possible. The rooms were clean and serviced each day with clean sheets and towels, and of course a "towel animal" each night on our beds! The food was very fresh, bountiful, varied and always good. We especially loved the "open dining" option. This allowed us to eat at anytime, at one of the many restaurant options available to everybody. The entertainment was delightful and seemed to be continual, and perhaps most importantly the entertainment was enjoyable for all ages. So happy that I choose you to work on my personal travel to China this year. I traveled with others who did not have such smooth sailing! Both Barbara and I marveled every day how great our planning had been, how wonderful and prompt out guides were. When we stopped at a train station, and the door opened, our guide was literally standing two feet away from the open door on the Platform. The Shanghai train station can be daunting.. our guide located baggage carts and people and walked us through security right onto our seats. Each tour was wonderful, especially the Tea Ceremonies carried out with thousands of years of traditions. The English of our Chinese guides was perfect and their personalities were great.
