You and Layanee put together an excellent Garden Tour. You packed each day with beauty. The gardens offered such a variety of settings. Each had its special emphasis which detailed all the work done by the gardeners. The trees and the topiaries were just great. We were wowed by the work done to keep them shaped. Walking thru the arches showed their strength and how the branches were trimmed for that shape. The homes and castles you chose had such variety. It’s hard to choice a favorite and more fun to just enjoy them all.
You both handled the ups and downs of taking a group of 22 garden enthusiasts to England extremely well. You showed so much concern for Carol during her accident. You treated her with love and kindness. You got her prompt attention and spent hours with her so she could continue with us.
One of Lou’s favorite parts were the trees and their strength.. they were so different than the ones here in CT.
We have so much to unpack; we’re on overload.

Great trip, G Adventures is a first rate organization and our guide Marko (CEO) was born and raise on in the islands. His knowledge of the wildlife and geology of the Isand was also firts rate. All the pickups were on time and in place. The Reina Silvia was a very comfortable boat with a capacity of 20 guests. Our group was 15 so some of the single guests were abled to get their own roomss. The rooms were more than adaquate. The food was very good, meals were a fun time where everyone got together. There was a shaded lounge deck on top and a small hot tub. We saw some amazing wild life. Giant tortises, iguana and different species of birds. We are SCUBA divers, but the snorkling was as good as a lot of the dives we have done. We saw black tip, Galapagos, hamerhead sharks, spotted eagle rays, schools f smaller fish and a swordfish.
Machu Picchu was a stunning site. The trip included a brief tour of Cusco with a half day tour available. Two days in the Sacred Valley with with stops at a weaving site and a brick and pottery site. Overnight stays in Ollantaytambo and Aguas Clientes. The hotel in Aguas Clientes was lacking in services, out only complaint on the trip. The bus ride from Aguas Clientes to the base of Machu Picchu is not for the faint of heart, but beats trying to hike up the 1000 feet of so. There are no facilities once you enter Machu Picchu so don't over hydrate until your about to exit. Our guide Winny was excellant and went out of her way to make sure we were okay. I had trouble with the altitude so she looked out for me.
Don't drink the water, if you can't peal it or cook it, don't eat it. Two of the three of us had intestinal issues. Bring medicine. They passed quickly and neither of us missed any activities. Of the three of us I was the only one bother by the altitude. Almost passed out going up stairs on the first day in Quito and did pass out in Cusco as I was trying to sit down on the stairs in Cusco. Recommend staying away from alcohol at altitude. Also, if 3 hours if too long between bathroom brakes you may want to wear a dipper while touring Machu Picchu.
Great trip overall. Would recommend it for anyone in shape. Take plenty of medications just in case.

I am eternally grateful to Lorraine for all the help she gave me regarding this cruise. This was the trip of a lifetime! I felt like Lorraine took care of me from start to finish. Everything from making suggestions that were appropriate for me to giving me guidance about tipping that I was totally clueless about. I haven't done as much traveling as I'd like, so I felt like I needed the expertise of a travel planner, and that person was Lorraine. As a female traveling alone, I was particularly concerned about safety issues. Lorraine assured me that this wouldn't be a problem, and she was 150% correct. I never felt uncomfortable - not on the cruise ship, not on the land excursions, not with the transfers to and from the hotel/airport/ship, not on the miniature treks on my own. There was a lot of walking - that's the only thing that I wish I was better prepared for. That's ok, on my next trip, I'll be ready :-). Bottom line - I wouldn't hesitate for a second to plan my next extravaganza w/ the help of Lorraine and the folks at Cruise Planners. They're top notch all the way!
Once again my trip(s) to Chile and Easter Island were fantastic due to the tireless effort of my TA Lorraine Whittemore. She ALWAYS goes above and beyond preparing my itineraries leaving no stone unturned. I recently went on a trip to the UK for a garden tour. I was very dissapointed in the way things were handled by Lorraine. She seemed very disorganized and stressed. I felt that an itinerary should have been sent out to us before we left the states or at the very least handed to us when we arrived in London. The format for the itinerary was poorly put together, with times and dates on one page and places to visit on another page, a person could have had all information for the day on each page. It would have been nice to have been personally greeting by Lorraine as we arrived in London and then also a goodbye the day we left for home. Layanee was very professional and knowledgeable regarding the tour. She made me feel welcomed and did have the courtesy to say goodbye and wish us safe travels home. It was hard to reach Lorraine before the trip because she was juggling two other trips at the same time. Communication was poor. All in all I would not recommend traveling with Lorraine as a tour guide. She would do fine if you were traveling with her as a friend on vacation together.

Hello. I just want to say Thank you so much for this experience. Everything was extremely easy. The resort was amazing. Food was excellent and service. We do suggest a little tipping bc many did and the drinks get better. The spa excursion is one of the best we had gone on. It was 150 for a 4 hr experience. The hotel massage was 150 for half hr so way better to go the boat spa. The only thing we complained about is pool closed at 8 but u can go in ocean anytime. Beach is beautiful! Thank u again for everything.. Next year we are going to go with our families. My parents have never flown or been anywhere so i will be booking with you, this way i will know it to be an easy experience. What a vacation!

Let me start off by saying that using a travel planner was not my first intent. I thought I could plan and book my honeymoon all by myself. Very quickly I learned how difficult that task actually is, and I needed help. I reached out to Lorraine, and was immediately blow away by her enthusiasm to help me. I met Lorraine and Tod when they visited my job while I was working. After a casual conversation and business card exchange, I decided I would trust them to plan my 21st birthday. I told them what my boyfriend and I were looking for and our budget, and they took care of the rest. When the day finally arrived, my boyfriend and I sailed away to the Bahamas on a 3 day/3 night Royal Caribbean cruise. Big, huge thanks for doing such a great job "scaffolding" our trip. We had a terrific time and totally enjoyed having so many of the logistical details taken care of in advance. My favorite was Le Pigonnet in Aix. This spa/lodge offered a wonderful mix of relaxing respite with magnificent gardens and close proximity to the historic area in Aix.
