Lori did a great job in coordinating our trip to begin a 10 day cruise. Lori was always available to answer any questions and provide information I needed to be aware of for trip. The Norwegian Breakaway Ship was amazing. The staff in all areas of the ship were there to serve use. The food was very good. Again, this was a great trip that Lori setup for my husband and I. I would definitely recommend Lori to friends and family.
Short Story: While in Rome heading for The Breakaway, reached out to Lori regarding a New Years cruise. Lori immediately forward information. I was able to send message to book for us; however, I was losing wifi and was not sure if Lori was able to book. When I finally gain wifi access, sure enough Lori successfully booked cruise using my information on file. (Kudos to Lori)
I was pleased with Lori Osgood/Cruise Planners. But as far as Rocky Mountaineer trip I would not recommend to put that amount of money for that trip. I could have taken a couple cruises and enjoyed it a lot more.

We just returned from a 7 night cruise to the Southern Caribbean on Royal Caribbean. It was wonderful! Best cruise ever! Anything that would have been stressful was made easy. Met at our room with chocolate covered strawberries and everyday was relaxing. My wife and I decided to take our kids and their families (our grands) on a cruise . This was a total of three families and us. Another set of grandparents joined, making it a grand total of 16 people. Laurie took control and handled everything! One part that was especially nice, was getting our whole group together in the dining room for the evening meal. This meant two tables of eight, side-by-side, in the main dining room. We even got beside the windows so it made it an extra special time for the kids (as well as us!) She took care of booking all the state rooms, and then when we decided to do some upgrades, she handled that also. My wife and I have done cruises together before, and realize how much time and effort it takes to get everything exactly the way we want it. The 7-day cruise to St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and the Bahamas was excellent. At first I was a little apprehensive about being at sea for 2 1/2 days before actually reaching the first destination; however, the Getaway had so many activities available from early morning through late night until there was never a dull moment. The meal selections were awesome as well. There were four complimentary restaurants on the ship - one buffet and three restaurants with menu items. The buffet was truly a variety of foods from different cultures. The Tropicana room restaurant even offers live Latin music during dinner. Taste and Savor are two other complimentary restaurants as well. There was also a complimentary pub that served food 24/7. I cannot forget to mention the 24/7 room service that is complimentary as well. We also pre-purchased the Ultimate Dining Plan for $119.00 per person. This allows you to experience unlimited dining at all of the other restaurants for this one low price (Brazilian Steakhouse, French Bistro, and many others). The Norwegian Getaway is considered freestyle cruising, meaning that you can do as much or as little as you would like and you are not required to dress formally for dinner. However, my husband and I dressed up for dinner almost every night. There were some guest who did dress formally as well. I was extremely impressed with the punctuality of all of the activities and arrival and departure from the ports.
Our cabin was a mid-ship balcony cabin that was very clean and spacious. The housekeeper was awesome. She offered to clean the room twice daily. There were approximately 1600 crew members aboard the ship and they were very personable. Another thing that I appreciated was the availability of hand washing stations all over the ship, especially in the buffet dining area. The phrase that we were welcomed with every morning by the buffet staff was "happy, happy, washee, washee" as they proceeded to spray the guests' hands with sanitizer.
The activities on the ship were awesome. We participated in the Tango lesson, White Hot party, Thriller Flash mob lesson, watched the World Cup on the big screen, went to Burn the Floor musical, sang karaoke (yes, I actually sang), sat at the pool, played black jack at the casino, listed to a Grammy-nominated artist's live performance, and participated in many other activities!
While we were in port in St. Maarten and St. Thomas, we had plenty of time to shop, eat, and lie on the beach. In St. Thomas we also took a shore excursion which included a guided-bus tour of the island, a sample of a banana daiquiri, with the option of purchasing a full daiquiri, at a bar along the tour route, and a meal along with time to relax and swim at Coki Point Beach. The entire excursion was $25.00 (not including the meal and the daiquiri). In the Bahamas we shopped a little and participated in the snorkeling shore excursion. It was well worth the money.
Overall, I would highly recommend cruising on the Norwegian Getaway. It was a top-notch experience. Also, a BIG thank you to my Cruise Planner Lori Osgood. She did an awesome job finding the perfect ship and destination for us. I am looking forward to the next cruise. By the way, our cruise in celebration of our 25-year wedding anniversary and we received a complimentary cake, chocolate covered strawberries, and a bottle of wine. The strawberries and wine were placed in our stateroom as a pleasant surprise during the cruise.

My name is Jeff, and while I'm a little late doing this, I wanted to share our experience using Lori as our group travel agent.
I was organizing a group cruise for the seniors at the Fortuna Senior Center in early April, and started the process last spring. We were having difficulty getting the travel agency that we originally trying to use to call us back, and one of the seniors recommended that we give Lori a try. I called her and arranged a meeting, and she was very responsive and wanting to help. I was sold.
The group that we took on the cruise consisted of approximately 20 seniors over the age of 60, many of whom did not have the access or skills to do many of the computer related tasks that are necessary today to cruise. Lori was always willing to help in any way she could, and even some of our more "out there" requests were never an issue.
She was patient with the seniors, followed up with them and myself at all times, and the longest I ever waited for a call back was around 20 minutes. We will definitely being using her services again in the future, and I would recommend that anyone in need of these services give her a try. You won't regret it; I know I haven't!- Jeffrey B.

Planning our Alaskan trip was very seamless. Lori was wonderful! She was very efficient, well organized and answered all of our questions. She provided us with every possible scenario so we were better informed in choosing the right trip for us. It was our first trip to Alaska and we wanted to experience as much as we can.
