Am sure you are awaiting our “report†on Secrets – bottom line we would certainly go back – am sure Sona will send you pics so I will not bother – they did it up good for our anniversary and Sona’s birthday decorating the room etc – we were about a 3 minute walk from the beach and main pool bar which is where everyone gathers – the drinks were flowing constantly – they even have waiters/waitresses roaming the pool area and asking if you wanted anything instead of having to go to the bar yourself – they also had chefs at lunch that would walk around and serve you pizza, tacos, and other nibblers or you go to any of the restaurants or the poolside “grill†for burgers, dogs, fish, chicken etc.Room was terrific – even had a Jacuzzi tub (all rooms do) walls are a bit thin though – could hear people walking around upstairs from us.Restaurants – the Italian was by far the absolute best – the seafood one was at best mediocre (shrimp was overcooked – probably cooked hours earlier and put under a heat lamp) – heard the same from various other people about both of these restaurants – did not go to any others BUT they have 24 hour room service – WONDERFUL – separate menu for this but service and quality was always great. They also have a mini fridge in the room that they would stock daily with water/sodas/juice/beer.All of the staff were terrific – cordial, helpful etc. Loads of activities on a daily basis that you can participate in.No hassles with transport to/from airport.- Mark J.
