Overall, with a few minor exceptions, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Ship and crew were superb and handled the few issues that arose well. Food and beverage services were very good with excellent choices, well presented, and delicious. I give the food a solid B+ - A- where an A-A+ is gourmet fare. I would definitely book through Cruise Planners for a Viking cruise again.

Everything about how this tour was organized was top notch. The transfers all went smoothly. Our land and shipboard accomodations were excellent. I would hightly recommend the Athens Gate Hotel, Celestyal Olympia, and Astral Palace Hotel to anyone. We could not have been more please overall.

on the last full day of the cruise, my husband and I tested positive for COVID, so we couldn't fly home to Michigan from Miami after the ship docked the following day. My internet was very spotty and I was having difficulty trying to reserve a car rental so we could drive home. I reached out to JoAnne via text and she took care of the rental for us. She was great! the cruise line got us to the rental facility and everything was in place! One less worry for us as my husband and I were both feeling ill at this point. Throughout the entire process around this cruise, JoAnne has been extremely helpful, proactive and very informative. We plan on reaching out to her for future travel and would highly recommend her to others.

We had a great time! JoAnne was great to work with. This was the longest vacation trip we've ever had. At times it was pretty tiring, but overall it was WELL worth it. Alaska is a great and beautiful land and we're so glad we got to visit!
