Just returned from last minute vacation to Iceland. We spent an unforgettable week on a Backroads Multi-Adventure tour exploring the jungle and volcanoes with our college aged kids to celebrate Ryan and my 25th wedding anniversary. Regine jumped in to rescue our two week vacation to Italy in early May after a stalled-start with another travel agent. She immediately got to work and planned the most wonderful vacation for our family of six adults and our ten- month- old granddaughter. She took on the challenge and excelled!
The itinerary was complicated. We are not frequent travelers, so while in Italy we wanted to “see it all.” The Sorrento area, Tuscany area, and Rome were all on the list. Regine planned for three different hotels, train travel from Naples to Florence, and private transfers from airport to hotels, hotels to excursions; each accommodating the need for a baby car seat for our granddaughter. Regine worked with familiar tour guides/drivers to provide the BEST excursions—Capri, Amalfi coast villages, Pompeii, the Vatican, Ancient Rome, Florence, and Tuscany wine country. The guides she hand-selected were excellent—just the perfect amount of time and depth spent in each location for the length of our trip and our interests. Our tickets/tours for the Vatican and the Colosseum included the ability to “skip the line”—the ONLY way to experience Rome excursions, as far as I am concerned. The lines at 8:30 am in early May were already ridiculous. Without the “skip the line” bonus, we would have missed two of the most fascinating excursions of our trip. Standing in line for hours with a ten month old just wasn’t an option!
Before we planned our trip I had read advice online about the downfalls of squeezing too much into a two week trip. We certainly couldn’t have done it on our own. But Regine and Emily managed to plan the perfect vacation for this family of seven in a limited amount of time. I am already singing their praises to my friends and look forward to working them again on our next adventure!- Karen M.

Regine did the most amazing job helping us plan our honeymoon to Japan. She was thoughtful, detailed and very responsive every step of the way. We spent 12 days exploring Japan - starting in Tokyo, moving to the mountains of Hakone, then up to Kanazawa and down to Kyoto and Osaka. We felt like we spent just the right amount of time in each place and left no stone unturned everywhere we went. Regine partnered with Kensington and their service was flawless as well. The first time we used Regine as a travel advisor was when planning a 75th birthday cruise for my mom. I had never been on a cruise before and wanted the booking process to be as simple as possible so I could focus on enjoying this special trip. Recently my husband and I traveled to France for a river cruise on the Seine. Finding that travel planning can be time consuming and stressful we enlisted the help of Regine Adam of CruisePlanners. Our former travel agent, who had retired, gave me Regine’s name and I have had nothing but positive experiences from that moment on. There were four of us in the party. We had all been to parts of Europe and wanted to see some again and other new areas. She listened to each of us and incorporated our individual desires n a cruise of a lifetime with Oceania. She suggested many wonderful excursions as we preferred to do private tours, and all our excursions went smoothly. She also helped us with airline reservations to Europe. We were leaving from New York and Miami and meeting at the Rome Airport. There was no problem. She guided us through every step of fulfilling the Covid requirements. She maintained contact with us while we stayed in Rome, visiting many sites, and revisiting some places that were memorable to each of us. All through the trip, we could contact her at any time, and she would be there for us. She also helped us with the Covid requirements as we were to board the ship.
The last part of our trip was to fly from Turkey to Southampton where we were to board Cunard's Queen Mary 2 to sail across the Atlantic back to New York. As we were about to board the QM2, my husband tested positive for Covid. Since we had been traveling together, none of us could board the ship. It was Regine who helped us sort everything out - from getting us retested to making travel arrangements for our return flights to the States. One couple went straight to NY. My husband and I went to JFK, then changed to a second flight to PBI airport. All that was arranged by Regine, and it all went very smoothly. She also helped us file the insurance claim.
One of the things she told me early on was that since my husband had neuropathy on his feet, we should request a wheelchair for him. That was an amazing suggestion. One of the airports we used, was the Istanbul Airport in Turkey. It was huge, he never would have been able to make it.
The fact that she was in easy contact with us throughout the trip made us all very comfortable. She is a treasure!
She didn’t stop there. My husband and I were planning a trip to our daughter’s home in New Jersey. I was having no luck finding a hotel in an appropriate distance from our daughter’s house. I called Regine and in five or ten minutes she had a place for us.

Prior to meeting Regine, I hadn’t worked with a travel advisor in many years and didn’t realize that I needed help to plan a long-awaited family trip to Italy. I started on my own, booking hotels, looking at airline websites, and researching ground excursions for 8 people aged 27 to 83 with various levels of stamina and interests. It also included flying from two departure cities to two different Italian cities and then home again. When I realized I was in way over my head, I was lucky enough to be introduced to Regine through a family friend. Regine was extremely detail-oriented from day one and started by rebooking the reservations I had already made at a better price. From there, she managed and advised us on every detail of the trip: every flight, every transfer, every hotel, dinner reservations, travel insurance, ground excursions, including pickup times and locations, names of contacts, and the length of each outing. She advised us on attractions we would not otherwise have heard about, arranging reservations and guides. When I had questions during the trip, she answered them promptly. When two people on our trip tested positive for Covid before returning home, she handled that too, finding them a lovely accommodation where they could quarantine in comfort. Regine was a lifesaver in planning a visit to Scotland and England with our four children. She assessed our needs and found excellent accommodations at reasonable prices for our party of six. She continued to manage changes to our air travel as needed. Highlights of our trip were suggestions from Regine – Christmas Eve at the Old Course at St Andrews and a private guided tour in a luxury travel coach to see Loch Lomond and surrounding areas. Regine helped us plan a wonderful family trip to Disney World! She asked us questions about what kind of experience we wanted to have and what was most important to us. She then made recommendations based on how we like to travel. Regine was an amazing resource all things Disney - when to go, where to stay, how to make dining reservations and reserve Fast Passes. She also kept me on track when it was time to make Dining and Fast Pass reservations and was extremely helpful in both the planning and scheduling.

Our family has used Regine with help planning several trips in the last year. I first became aware of her when I was in the midst of planning a three stop, ten day trip to London, Florence and Paris.
Our consultation began with a discussion of things to do on the Left Bank, which led to us talking about some complicated hotel arrangements necessitated by varying arrival and departure times for my family. She suggested a Left Bank boutique hotel that might be able to accommodate us more comfortably and less expensively than the hotel I reserved, and quickly verified their availability. Her relationship with the hotel enabled her to obtain, at no extra cost to us, museum tickets, metro passes, Seine cruise tickets, airport transfers and breakfast. We loved the hotel, and their welcoming staff made a big difference in our stay. We never would have found them without Regine. Although our plans were already made for London and Florence, I’m sure she would have found us equally wonderful places to stay had we needed that.
I next used Regine to help us plan activities for our family’s trip to Alaska. This trip too was partially planned by the time I found out about Regine. We had already booked our house rental and several day trips. She, however, is the one that found what turned out to be the best day trip of the vacation – a full day kayak trip to Aialik Glacier in Kenia Fjords National Park. We were a bit reluctant about the trip’s length and physical commitment, but Regine’s research made us comfortable with both and it turned into a breathtaking day that we will never forget. Regine also arranged our plane reservations for the Alaska trip. About a month before the trip, the airline changed our connecting flight allowing us only twenty minutes between flights. This is when I realized the true value of having her book our flights. I didn’t have to spend hours on the computer and phone looking up flights and convincing the airline that this wasn’t acceptable to our family of six. Instead, I sent a quick email to Regine asking for her help, and she took care of it within a few days. She even got us a refund for upgraded seats that we had reserved but that the airline wasn’t able to give us.
Most recently Regine booked us airline and cruise reservations for a mother daughter Rhine riverboat cruise with Viking River Cruises. This trip was hastily planned, and she was able to get us the last two spots available for the type of cabin that we wanted. I sent her an evening email asking about availability and, much to my surprise, had a response when I logged on the next morning. Not only that, she also was able to get us plane tickets through Viking at prices that were much better than the ones I had seen online. She helped us sign up for trip excursions, and took care of all government required documentation for the airlines. About a week before the trip, Regine presented us with a detailed itinerary and went over it day by day to make sure that we understood everything and had the trips that we wanted.- Deborah K.
